About Mr Asrit Babu
Mr. Babu is a Consultant Urologist at Nuffield Health York Hospital and York & Scarborough Teaching Hospitals. He qualified from Barts & The London Medical School and completed his specialist training in Yorkshire. He currently serves as the Urology Cancer Multidisciplinary Team Lead and the Lead Clinician for Acute Urology across the Trust.

My visit to see Mr Asrit Babu Was a very pleasant and informative, Letting me know in detail put me at ease from the moment I arrived
Mr Babu is a very good communicator and listener. His thoughts are shared and clarified if necessary. My condition has improved with his care and management. The ongoing plan he suggested is very agreeable. I highly recommend Mr Babu to anyone with urological problems.

Very good experience. No problem parking, receptions were good with clear explanations. Waiting area good. Mrs Babu was very efficient. Mr Babu was a very good communicator, succinct and knowledgable.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Listen to what you are told. Mr Babu suggested I move from the catheter bag to a flip flow system which enabled me to gradually move off the night bag. Training the body helped my recovery after the TURP. Recovery was good but fatigue was and still is the problem 12 weeks later, but getting there.
Mr Babu was also incredibly warm and friendly. He took his time with me, answered all of my questions and explained things clearly and in an easy-to-understand way, without using medical jargon. He made me feel at ease throughout the appointment.
What an excellent consultant Mr Babu is. Friendly and caring, but straight to the point And quick to pick up on body language as well as spoken words. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
