Alison is exceptional and we would highly recommend her for a holistic tongue tie assessment. We were warned that many doctors will simply perform the procedure without full assessment of the feeding ability. Alison does the opposite - it was a detailed and thorough appointment looking at everything before determining best course of action. For us, that meant no action was taken. Having Abbie join for the lactation consultancy was an added bonus. Abbie was amazing and so knowledgeable and able to advise on latching and positioning in the room. Dr Alison Carter is a lovely, friendly and very knowledgeable doctor. She was extremely professional and made our visit with my 15 year old son for an ENT appointment comfortable and reassuring. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Allison was absolutely lovely and made us feel very comfortable throughout the appointment. We saw her regarding our baby’s tongue tie, and she took the time to explain all of the available options clearly, including what we could consider doing next. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, and thorough in answering our questions. A breastfeeding consultant also joined the appointment, which was really helpful as we were able to hear her perspective and get additional advice from a breastfeeding point of view. Overall, we had a very positive experience with Dr. Allison and really appreciated how clearly she explained everything and how supportive she was throughout the appointment. Highly recommended.
