I feel very privileged to have been cared for by Mr Hunt & his team. From our first meeting he made me feel that I was a person rather than just a patient, ensuring I understood all that he said & inviting questions. He is an exceedingly courteous man with a warm, modest & caring manner. He came to see me in the hospital ward the day after my operation to reassure me that all had gone well. I have much to thank him for.

Mr Hunt gave me a very thorough explanation of my condition and treatment required. He explained everything in great detail and provided me with all scenarios including the worst case. This meant that I went into the operation with the full facts and had managed expectations of the outcome. Mr Hunt's manner ensured that I went into the operation knowing I was in very safe hands.

Mr Hunt was brilliant from start to finish. Gave me multiple options and wasn’t pushy towards any of them. Allowed me to decide what was the best procedure for me.

Like most Slipping Rib Syndrome patients the relief of a final diagnosis is rather overwhelming. I can't thank Mr Hunt for his expertise and clear communication as we investigated my symptoms. Once diagnosed, Mr Hunt went through in detail the causes of Slipping Rib Syndrome and my own symptoms. I now have a good understanding of the condition and my own diagnosis. I am delighted to say the surgery has been a total success. I can't thank him and his team enough, it's really been a quality of life changing event.

Mr Hunt, has dealt with me for the past 12 months since my pectus excavatum was diagnosed. At 61 years of age I am not a typical pectus patient and he took extra time to research and consult on the best surgical pathway. My surgery was 6 weeks ago and I am very pleased with the results so far. He is a delight to deal with and I can't recommend him highly enough.

Mr Hunt provided a thorough explanation of what surgery was needed and explained the pros and cons, making it personal for me. The operation was completely successful and the various milestones were exactly as Mt Hunt advised. The time from being first diagnosed to my post-op follow-up with him was only about 10 weeks...quite remarkable.

I highly recommend Mr Hunt. He diagnosed and operated on my daughter for Slipping Rib Syndrome. He is a lovely person - caring, empathetic and patient centred, taking time to listen to my daughter’s symptoms and concerns. His explanation of the cause of her pain was clear, and he outlined all the options available to her along with risks including the chances of positive outcome from surgery. His experience and expertise in this field was clearly evident and very reassuring. Engagement with Mr Hunt both pre and post surgery was attentive and positive.
