I have received A double hip replacement under Mr Massa this year after my first consultation in March with Mr Massa he explained with using x-rays and CT scan which I've had but both hips were arthritic and assisted formed at the head of each joint By my I had the first hip replacement with a two night stay at the Oaks Hospital the ward staff narcissist physios and the surgery team and the Mr Massa were fantastic it took 2 to 3 weeks to become comfortable 4 to 6 weeks for full use but still want to come the second was done in August of the same year And the recovery was quicker 2 to 3 weeks and I could get rid of the crutches five weeks stopped painkillers for the first time in many years I've just had my seven week assessment with Mr Massa all his healed well and I've done my first 5 mile walk with no pain no clicking no sciatic nerve Absolutely life changing I'm just really replanting my whole future

From the moment l first meet Mr Massa until the moment l was signed off l felt calm, well looked after, and understood exactly what would happen because of the detailed information given. Then the whole team on the operating day were also fantastic. Everyone who had a part in my surgery did it with care and some humour which was important to me! I have already and will continue to praise Mr Massa and his team if asked by anyone worried about having to have a new hip. I would also like to thank the nurses and physio team once l was back in my room. We are lucky to have such a high standard of medical care.

From my first meeting with Mr Massa I felt very confident & re-assured that the Operation to replace my Arthritic Hip would be carried out effectively. At the post Op meeting Mr Massa assured me that all was well & there were no problems. He was at all times polite, friendly & professional.

I had a total hip replacement done. I am extremely happy with the result. After the initial post-op pain healed (about 2 weeks), all the pain in my hip was gone. I also have a good degree of hip flexibility. Thank you very much, Mr Massa.

I can't fault my experience with Mr.Massa. He performed my total knee replacement, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's changed my life. His professional but relaxed manner really put me at ease from the initial consultation to final asessment, with the outcome exceeding my expectations. I have had increasing hip pain and lack of mobility for years. I saw a consultant last year who said, yes, there are problems but we don’t really operate on people your age (mid 40’s). After some physio, I was referred for a second opinion to Mr Massa, he was completely on board with help and solutions. After reviewing my x-ray I was offered a total hip replacement. Mr. Massa was very professional is explaining the benefits and risks of the total hip replacement surgical procedures. He carried out first the total right hip replacement in October 2025, which was very successful. Eight months later I underwent a total left hip replacement which was also successful. I have no hesitation in recommending him as orthopaedic surgeon for hip replacement operations.

Clear explanation of the product used and benefits were given prior to the hip operation. Following complication due to my anatomy that was resolved within the operation I have made a full speedy recovery. Had rigorous testing at the operation phase not been completed by Mr Massa then I surely would have had some additional problems. Great work very satisfied and have felt better and stronger post operation than in many years.
