Mr Edward Massa

From consultation to discharge Mr Massa was most professional with a friendly, personal manner. It has been seven weeks since my knee replacement and I feel great, free of all pain and walking well. Thank you for a great job Mr Massa.

Mr Massa is one of the most cheerful,courteous consultants I’ve ever had the pleasure to be treated by(and I’ve seen quite a few in my yrs!) he puts you at ease from the very first introduction,to explaining the minute detail of every procedure you need to have. He takes his time to make sure that you fully understand everything that’s going on before you leave the appointment too. Also,for any queries that you’ve forgotten when you see him,his P.A. Hayley is always extremely helpful in liasing between Mr Massa and yourself if needed,too. All in,I’d 1000% definitely recommend Mr Massa for any treatment that you’re looking to have,as he’s a very safe pair of hands for you to put your health in. My last visit with Mr Massa was a post op review after a hip replacement. It was only 7 wks after my operation,but I’m back to pretty much everything I was doing before my op,and more. He was his usual,jolly self,and went through everything with me regarding future treatment I’ll need. All in,an appointment I actually look forward to attending,as you get treated as a patient,not just a name on a screen,and that truly does make all the difference.

Mr Massa had a wonderful disposition and manner that put you at ease. The operation went without a hitch and wound recovery was problem free , no infection. He showed me all x-rays and scans explaining what the issues had been and how they had been resolved. I would be more than happy to recommend him to anyone needing the same surgery.

Mr Massa's care was extremely efficient he was informative and extremely caring throughout my hip replacements and post op care.

It was 7 weeks to the day that I’d had my hip replacement and it’s been brilliant . No pain healed well . Signed off to resume swimming exercise classes etc No longer need to use crutches , it was just incredible. Would recommend him to anyone needing hip surgery. He is kind and considerate and lets you take time to decide / agree correct options for you .

Mr Massa is an excellent surgeon. He relayed my options clearly, never pushing surgery, but explaining when/why it might be necessary. My most recent visit was a post-op appointment and we discussed my progress, what outstanding soreness or pain is normal, and checked my wound to ensure proper healing. He was enthusiastic about my progress, which is very encouraging. I left feeling optimistic about my condition and the work to be done moving forward.

I was really impressed by the service provided by Mr Massa. Medical professionals so often leave you in the dark, but Mr Massa explained what my problem was, what he could do about it, then went ahead and did precisely what he said he could do. An outstanding surgeon.

This appointment was to confirm everything was ok after Mr Massa had done a hip replacement eight weeks a go. Before the appointment two X-Rays were done so that Mr Massa could confirm the replacement was ok. We went through the X-rays to satisfy me all looked good.
