Informative and reassuring. Sceptical at first but did need a knee replacement due to osteoarthritis. Pain for the first few weeks. But everyone is different. Eight weeks on and getting better each day. I would recommend having the operation and know soon my life will be better.
I went to see Mr. Brew when I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the hip and he recommended a hip replacement. Mr. Brew was informative, respectful and professional and I felt I was in safe hands from the start. I had my operation at the Yorkshire Clinic which was brilliant. I had a spinal block and sedation and when I woke up it was all over. The physio team had me up and walking within a few hours and Mr Brew said I could go home the following day. Recovery has been relatively easy and ive had excellent aftercare. I'm very very happy with my new hip and I wouldn't hesitate to have it done again if my other hip goes down the same route. Mr. Brew and his team have made my life worth living again and I can't thank them enough for their skill and care.
I can't recommend enough ,great professionalism and bed side manor i was given a though explanation of what would happen in the operation, a great experience, 5 ** to Mr Brew and all the staff would greatly recommend for anyone thinking of Hip surgery.
2nd full replacement knee surgery with Me Brew, I could not be happier with the results. I feel 20 years younger and am pain free for the first time in 6 years
It’s always worrying when facing the prospect of an operation, my experience is that there is absolutely no need to worry at all. Relax and let these professionals bring you through. It is one year since my hip replacement and all I can say is that the benefits have changed my life, no more pain, ability to walk distance and climb hills without any problems. Just go for it, the best thing that has happened to me and restored my health. I can’t thank Mr Brew and his team enough
Exellent service from start to finish of opperation, would recomend to anyone.
Mr Christopher Brew was excellent in every way, from the first consultation to the last visit to sign me off, everything was explained in very good detail, I was very relaxed with the whole procedure and understood every stage
This procedure has given me my life back and I cannot thank Mr Brew enough. He made it very clear how he expected me to look after my health to prepare for surgery and as a result my recovery has been brilliant.
This is the second arthroscopic surgery I have had by Mr Brew. I have to say that both results have been excellent. It is only just over 3 weeks since my recent surgery. My surgical cuts have healed and I am already walking at home without any support, though using a stick to walk outside in case of uneven paths as I do not want to undue any of his amazing work. I was in terrible pain due to a tear, unable to walk without crutches and unable to find a pain free position to sleep in. I am now pain free and happy. Brilliant work Mr Brew, thank you.
Best thing I did, was apprehensive but I had severe constant osteoarthritis pain. Had hip replacement, in hospital overnight, Mr Brew & his team, are excellent, they alleviated my fears of having the surgery, i am so grateful that I have, at last, not got the arthritis pain. I would advise anybody with constant pain that is worrying, as I was, not to.
Mr Brew is a highly experienced consultant colleague with excellent results. He sub specialises in hip and knee joint replacement and sports injuries. His personal approach and attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend him
