I am so grateful to Mr Brew and the team at Yorkshire Clinic for the expertise and care I received when having my hip replacement surgery back in August. To walk around pain free is truly amazing and at 8 weeks post surgery I am hitting at least 10k steps per day, and was back in the gym 3 weeks post surgery. It’s a game changer so if you are in doubt, don’t be!! Thank you again Mr Brew and team 🙏🏻

It was all a bit frightening at first, the thought of what they were going to do but Mr Brew took me through the procedure and I felt a lot better. The staff also were very kind. I can now walk without pain and carry on a normal life again which is marvellous.

The phisio staff from my rehab were fantastic and after the first three weeks rehab has gone very well

It’s a big operation but I have no regrets. I’m no longer in pain all the time and can walk again.

I was a little concerned before the knee operation but from the first meeting with Mr Brew and the explanation he gave I decided to go ahead with the full knee replacement, now after seven weeks it's the best decision I made, been back playing after six weeks and was back in the dojo teaching karate after four weeks, although it lets me know if IAM over doing it. I am surprised I am doing as well as I am but I am pushing myself, but to be honest I am glad as my quality of life now is so much better and I would recommend the operation if needed, yes it's uncomfortable for a short period and yes I do still take painkillers when needed, but nothing more then paracetamol and ibuprofen. Yes really glad I had the surgery

Prior to my operation for a replacement hip i was in severe pain constantly and could not walk far even with a walking stick. I was very limited to what i could do. Since the operation i am pain free and can get back to enjoying life with no restrictions other than not squatting down. Walking and golf are now back on the cards.

Very friendly and approachable, he was pleased with my progress and discharged me. I am glad I had the operation, it has changed my life and not having the pain is wonderful

My resent visit was my 12 month post operation. Having the hip replacement in September 2025 was one of the best things I have done. My recovery was 5 weeks then I was able to go back to work with great ease. I have always been fortunate to lead a very active life and having this surgery had enabled me to get my life back, fir which I am do grateful to Mr Brew and his team!

I had a total hip replacement and am now 8 weeks into my recovery. I am now able to walk without a stick and am getting back to doing all the normal things I want to do without the pain of arthritis in my hip. Being able to drive again has given me back my independence and freedom to get about. I'm now able to walk about a mile or so but I know that it will get easier to walk further over the coming weeks as I build up my fitness and continue with the exercises recommended by my physio. To anyone thinking about surgery while suffering hip pain I would suggest doing this sooner rather than later as it will only improve your outlook.
