Surgery for long term acid reflux, during sleep this was causing choking & difficulty breathing also constant throat pain over a number of years. Mr Raslan was very understanding that these long term issues had worsened & where now having a severe effect. The surgery that was offered was fully explained & easily understandable. He was also very honest when explaining associated risks, even though these where small. We went ahead with the surgery, Mr Raslan and all of the staff treated me with a high level of respect, care & understanding. I felt very reassured throughout, both before & after surgery. This is something that they do countless times a day every day but i was made to feel as if i was there one and only patient. I felt completely reasurred and at peace going into surgery due to the extremely high level of care. The surgery has been a complete 100% success, the throat pain i'd suffered for a number of years had immediately disappeared. Mr Raslan came to see me shortly after & was again very caring & reassuring. Explaining how surgery had gone, asking how i was feeling & explaining what both my short & long term recovery should look like. He was very clear on what to expect of my bodies recovery & of my diet plan over the coming six weeks. Again the care of every single member of staff was outstanding, attentive caring & reassuring throughout. Mr Raslan visited me again the next day to discuss how i was recovering & confirming i was safe to be discharged. He even offered me the chance of an extra night in Hospital to recover if i felt i needed it. I was more than happy to be discharged, feeling completely reassured by the best quality of service of every member of staff. Especially Mr Raslan who has been outstanding throughout & is a definite asset and credit to the NHS.

Walking into Spire hospital at Manchester, I was greeted by really good reception staff who listened to what I said and then made it happen. It felt very well organised. Into the wards/clinics for treatment, I was again greeted by friendly, confident staff who quickly put me at ease and explained what was to be carried out. All of my tests/treatments were carried out very professionally, on time and with care and respect. I felt comletly at ease throughtout. 5 Stars in every respexct for the clinical staff and Spire Manchester. Bad Experiencies. Dealing with the Spire Online/ Phone back office and Booking System. It was diabolical in all aspects. It appeared to be very dis-jointed and not able to pass information on internally nor take notice of what I told them. I received meaningless paperwork that bore little resemblance to what was to be done and its timeline. The night before treatment, around 8 p.m., I even received an email that told me all my procedures/ tests were to be carried out in Liverpool, not Manchester. Very poor level communications from Spire admin. very bad experience for me.

Communication with Kernow Psychiatry beforehand was very responsive and I booked an initial appointment to discuss my mental health difficulties. Dr Reid welcomed me into a comfortable room at the wellness hub, she immediately put me at ease made sure I was settled and ready to begin. After one hour, Dr Reid summarised what she saw as the key priorities to getting me back on an even keel, suggesting a clear approach to addressing my intersecting issues. I felt I was in good hands and I'm now looking forward to my follow up appointment to start my treatment plan towards recovery. I only wish I’d followed my instincts sooner and booked in months ago.

It was lovely to see Nadine at my recent visit. She was kind and friendly but also very skilled and knowledgable. She explained everything clearly during my examination and afterwards when she reviewed my x-rays. I have been a patient of Dr Nadine Skipp for sixteen years, and during that time she has treated me for everything from cosmetic work and tooth whitening to routine maintenance and emergency repairs. She has rescued me on several occasions and consistently kept my smile healthy and looking great. I used to feel anxious about dental appointments, but that completely changed when I met Nadine. My wait time was excellent, I was seen ahead of my appointment time. The individual who picked me up to take me to the MRI was very friendly and kind. Unfortunately, that’s when things got somewhat awkward. The actual MRI attendant who was in charge of asking me the safety questions in advance found herself having a disagreement with a member of staff on another ward whilst with me. I understand that people are overworked and underpaid - resourcing has always been an issues (I have worked for the NHS), however, having an argument over who would tend to someone being seen after me is something that should not have happened infront of me. A joke was made of it when she hung up the phone but it was incredibly uncomfortable for me.

Ania was kind and welcoming as always. She always asks me how things are and I tell her at length! She picks up a key issue to focus on, this time it was the window of tolerance and strategies to help me be curious, open and flexible. She is kind and supportive and helps me to see what I do well and how I can live more in accordance with my values rather than being angered repeatedly by small things or anxious about them. We both thought we were at a stage where I did not need to come to the sessions any more and I think this shows what a great practitioner Ania is and how well she understands me. I am both sorry and happy to leave!

She was consistently supportive, compassionate, kind, understanding and deeply caring, which made an overwhelming situation feel far more manageable. I had booked a vitamin infusion. The whole experience was a desaster. The nurses used several needles but were not able to “find a good Vene” as they called it. They said my venes are the problem which is ridiculous as I had been to your place to get infusions multiple times and there never was a problem. As a result, I now have three large bruises and my arms hurt. I left without getting the infusion. The ladies did not even apologize. In my view, they should get proper training both when it comes to doing injections and servicing clients. I will not return.

Mr Patel had the results of my recent x-ray and MRI. He showed me them on-screen and interpreted them. He advised me of things I should do to maintain mobility but did not think the arthritis, though painful, was of sufficient severity to merit any surgical or medical interventions. His manner was entirely professional and helpful. He made clear I could come back within 6 months if things deteriorated. I could contact reception. I left on time and very satisfied with the prognosis and advice.

Hari has been looking after my dad who has stage 4 kidney cancer. Hari is a kind, caring person who treats you with respect and truly wants to help. Dad certainly would not be where he is now only for Hari. He sets out a clear protocol to help on your cancer journey. Very pleased with Clarity who saw me very shortly after referral and operated on a week later. I was going to wait for the next operation on the NHS on the 4th February but when that was moved to sometime in April, I took the next available appt on January 20th for a private operation. Both private experiences have been a pleasure and very good.

All the staff at the Spire Hospital were helpful & nothing was too much trouble so that I felt listened to in terms of my needs & any fears I had. I felt reassured that I was in excellent hands when it came to pain relief particularly immediately post op & was encouraged to get out of bed as soon as I was able. The food was enjoyable & there was a good variety which certainly helped my recovery & my room was light & very clean.

I think Georgie's class is absolutely excellent and it helps me a lot. She is both very good at showing us the exercises on the reformer and is also very kind!
