I had a very good experience with Visio Health when I had recent laser treatment following cataract surgery on both eyes with Ms Sandhu. The cataract surgery, which took place in hospital in July and October, has been very successful. I no longer need glasses after having vision corrective lenses. And I hadn’t realised quite how blurred and sepia my sight had become. My vision is now very clear and bright. It really has positively impacted my life. Everything looks like it did back when I was young. It’s so much more cheerful than that blurry, yellow sight that I had grown so used to. And I am so much more confident when driving. No more night glare. I was really apprehensive and anxious about cataract surgery. So much so that it was decided that I would have the procedure under general anaesthetic. But I can honestly say that despite all the worry the end result is better than I could have imagined. The laser treatment at Visio to improve my sight further with one session of laser treatment was totally painless, very straightforward and uncomplicated. The clinic was very well organised and the staff were all lovely. A very good experience.

It is always a pleasant experiance meeting Dr Shah for the consultation, despite the nature of the visit. The structure is generally clear and does well at providing patient confidence. To begin with, Dr Shah will listen to us and how we are feeling, how the treatment is developing, understanding and addressing any concerns we may have. All of this provides important patient validation which makes us feel included in the process. Dr Shah will therefore discuss the plan logically moving forward and why, and just clarifying we understand what everything entails. Discussions are open and are pivitol for my treatment, yet also for my wife Lisa, as we can feel confident in a realistic way what to expect and are to be addressing. As I say, all of our visits have been pleasat and comfortable.

When I entered the premises I couldn’t believe the transformation that had taken place as I was familiar with the building when it was a hairdressing salon. It was spacious, immaculate and tranquil. Having been quite anxious before my appointment, I quickly relaxed as all the staff were extremely friendly and kind. All the tests were performed swiftly and smoothly with every concern for my comfort and my understanding of the procedures involved. Mrs. Matthews explained my forthcoming cataract surgery clearly, comprehensively and reassuringly and I was very pleased to be offered the surgery I such a short space of time. After seeing several gynecologists, Mr Raza was at last the most reassuring and straight forward in explaining why having a robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy would be the best way forward for me. I am now 6 weeks post op and I am feeling great. I am continuing to be amazed by how small my scar is (2cm!). I would highly recommend Mr Raza to any women doubting whether to have the operation. Every person is different of course but he is so knowledgeable, kind and professional. Mr Patel had the results of my recent x-ray and MRI. He showed me them on-screen and interpreted them. He advised me of things I should do to maintain mobility but did not think the arthritis, though painful, was of sufficient severity to merit any surgical or medical interventions. His manner was entirely professional and helpful. He made clear I could come back within 6 months if things deteriorated. I could contact reception. I left on time and very satisfied with the prognosis and advice.
