About Dr Mohamed Elsayad
Dr. Mohamed Elsayad is a distinguished consultant radiologist with a specialty in musculoskeletal imaging, ultrasound-guided injections, Paediatric & Pelvic and cross-sectional body imaging.
Dr Elsayad is the lead radiologist for the BHRUT Endometriosis Tertiary Referral Centre. In his current position, he has honed his expertise in advanced pelvic imaging, including complex cases in colorectal, gynaecological, and multiparametric prostate MRI, and is a key contributor to multidisciplinary team meetings.
Dr. Elsayad has been instrumental in pioneering innovative practices, such as the introduction of microbubble contrast ultrasound for enhanced liver imaging.
His credentials include a Specialist Ultrasound Master’s degree, with extensive training across areas like abdominal, pelvic, musculoskeletal, vascular ( arterial & Venous), and gynaecological imaging, as well as detailed work with small parts, various lumps and bumps & paediatric radiology.
A passionate educator, Dr. Elsayad regularly teaches on prominent national and local radiology courses and is a lead trainer, particularly for trainees preparing for the FRCR 2b exam.
Dr. Elsayad collaborates closely with GPs, clinicians, and radiology teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Outside his professional life, he enjoys tennis, swimming, travel, and audiobooks on productivity and human psychology.

Very good. Steroid injection for a trigger finger. Fully explained procedure and not as painful as expected.
I had a guided shoulder injection recently and was feeling really anxious beforehand, but the doctor was absolutely amazing. He was so calming, kind, and accommodating from the start, which made a huge difference to how I felt. He took his time and administered the injection slowly, checking in with me throughout, and it was far less painful than I expected. I genuinely felt that he cared about my comfort and experience, which meant a lot. His nurse was also incredibly lovely and supportive, helping to put me at ease the whole time. Another fantastic experience at Nuffield, I'm so grateful for the care I received. Thank you so much
All the staff were very pleasant particularly Dr Elsayad and the nurse ( didn’t catch her name) who both put me at ease. My appointment was at 10.30 and I was seen earlier so had no waiting around
Had scan re neck lump, very fast, clear explanation & put mind at ease.
Well today visit we had a very relaxing experience . We had a projector on the ceiling with birds calling. Dr. Elsayad is very very good at his job
For me, I'm have no complaints from my experience. All staff involved were very professional, friendly and helpful.
Dr was nice . Most importantly made the experience very educative for my child which I really appreciate .
