Dr Emma Devereux is a Consultant Paediatrician with nearly two decades of experience in general paediatrics, neonatal care and epilepsy. She sees private patients at The Holly Private Hospital and Spire London East.
Dr Devereux earned her medical bachelor's degree at the University of London in 1992, after which she undertook her paediatric training in East London and Essex. Upon completion of her training, Dr Devereux joined the specialist register for paediatrics in 2003 and was appointed Consultant at North Middlesex University Hospital in 2002, where she later became the Paediatric Clinical Director. Due to her excellent standards of practice, Dr Devereux has been the recipient of numerous Clinical Excellence awards, and she has also been appointed to other roles including Clinical Director for Neonatal, Maternity, Paediatric and Gynaecology Services.
Dr Devereux is also keen on the medical education of junior doctors, and also serves as a Neonatal Life Support and Advanced Paediatric Life Support Instructor. She prioritorises the developmental needs of her patients in her practice, and utilises an evidence-based approach.

I could not fault our experience with Dr Emma Devereux, she was absolutely brilliant with both myself and my husband and our child. Dr Devereux took the time to really listen to our concerns and we did not feel rushed at all. She is professional and warm and explained things very well. She answered all of questions no matter how silly they seemed to me and helped put us at ease.

During my son's recent visit to the paediatrician , we discussed about a persistent muscular aches. The pediatrician conducted a thorough examination, paying careful attention to my son's discomfort. With a reassuring demeanor, the doctor explained potential causes and recommended a course of action, Witnessing the pediatrician's expertise and genuine concern for my son's well-being alleviated our worries, leaving us with a sense of trust and guidance for addressing the muscular aches.

Dr Emma was very gentle and engaging with my child to put them at ease. She asked thorough questions and really listened to our concerns. She did a comprehensive exam and didn't rush through it at all. She took the time to clearly explain her assessments.
