Miss Lizzie Bean receives praise for her helpful and professional patient interactions. She provides thorough explanations during procedures such as hysteroscopy and gynaecological scans, making uncomfortable experiences more comfortable and helping patients feel properly looked after. Miss Bean helps patients feel listened to regarding their conditions, particularly after years of feeling dismissed. Some patients mention difficulty securing follow-up appointments or awaiting results. Her valued approach significantly contributes to the management of gynaecological or pelvic conditions and endometriosis, including associated pain.
Absolutely amazing, sat and listened to all issues and symptoms, had a scan at the first appointment and a diagnosis. Been waiting for 4 years for a diagnosis so to get one during the first appointment was great.
Very helpful, sympathetic and understanding, with knowledgable solutions and help
She was extremly polite and made me understand everything very clearly .Had a really great experience with her. Thanks
Lizzie was very helpful and thorough. She made me feel confident of the care being given. She is great
I had a hysteroscopy which is a horrible experience in general as the procedure is quite uncomfortable. But the doctor was very kind and comforting and told me what she was doing all the time so that made it better!
I felt properly looked after. I wasn't rushed, was explained everything well.
She is compassionate and thorough in her explanation. Values my opinions and concerns without being condenseding. I love my consultations with Miss Bean she's the best so far.
I find it extremely difficult to have a follow up appointment and still await to hear what my results from my swab are. It has been more than 7 weeks since I was seen.
I’d like to leave this review to thank Dr Lizzy Bean and to recommend her to anyone who might need her care. I’ve lived with endometriosis for nearly 20 years. That’s 20 years of pain, surgeries, being sent from one doctor to another, different hospitals, different procedures… and through all of it, I never really felt listened to. People asked questions, but no one truly heard me. No one ever seemed genuinely interested in helping. Until I met Dr Bean- sadly only now, when it feels a bit too late for me. I first met her while I was in hospital for a coil insertion and hysteroscopy. She came to see me after looking through my medical history and said she’d really like me to come to the one stop clinic, because it looked like I had never received proper care. Lying in that hospital bed yet again, I remember thinking: Wow… someone actually noticed and cares? Two months later, I saw Dr Lizzy again at King George’s Hospital, and honestly, that appointment meant a lot to me. For the first time in 20 years, I spent a full hour with a doctor who listened, asked questions, checked everything properly, explained things, showed me what she was talking about, and gave me honest advice. It was emotional- not only because of the difficult news, or because she couldn’t offer the help I desperately needed earlier- but because of her empathy and genuine care. And also a bit of sadness and anger that it took me two decades to finally meet a doctor who truly wanted to help. Thank you, Dr Bean, for being a real doctor. For caring, for listening, for showing empathy, and simply for being h...
