Mr Mabrouk has been incredible from start to finish. I knew when I first met him that I had chosen the right person to look after me. He had kind eyes and made me feel heard for the first time in years. I ask a lot of questions, and never did he make me feel like it was too much. His expertise are next to none, and after my post op apt yesterday, he has made me feel that my endometriosis and Fibrosis will more than likely never return. Incredible! A type of care I would never have gotten by the NHS alone who dismissed me and my issues for years. I tell so many girls in my position about Mr Mabrouk and will continue to keep recommending him. Thank you, Harlie
Very professional and friendly. Profesor clearly explained all options.
Prof Mabrouk was the first doctor to take my endometriosis pain and symptoms seriously and I felt that the disease and all of my options were carefully explained to me. When the pain became unbearable, I chose to have endometriosis excision surgery with Prof Mabrouk at the Spire Cambridge Lea. My stay at the hospital was faultless. I felt completely safe and taken care of. Prof Mabrouk has an excellent bedside manner. The entire endometriosis team at the Spire Cambridge Lea is excellent. It was really wonderful to experience a continuity of care post-surgery and the team was only an email or phone call away whenever I had questions.
I feel incredibly grateful to have been treated by Dr Mohamed Mabrouk — a truly exceptional surgeon and one of the most compassionate, skilled, and dedicated doctors I have ever met. He did far more than perform an operation for me — he changed my life. My case turned out to be extremely complex. Although my diagnostics originally did not show anything dramatic, once the surgery began it unexpectedly revealed stage 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis — something that is very common, as this condition often cannot be fully seen or understood without laparoscopy. It can appear “out of the blue,” and that is exactly what happened in my situation. Despite this sudden complexity, Dr Mabrouk handled everything with extraordinary precision, calmness, and mastery. He removed every single trace of endometriosis, even in areas that are notoriously difficult to treat, and he did it with a level of accuracy that I still find incredible: My ovarian reserve was completely preserved. None of my organs were harmed. Not even a single blood vessel was damaged. This kind of outcome in stage 4 cases is extremely rare. Many surgeons would have had to sacrifice something, or leave part of the disease behind, simply because of the difficulty — but not Dr Mabrouk. His skill is on a world-class level, and his meticulous technique protected my fertility, my organs, and my quality of life. But what truly sets him apart is not just his surgical brilliance — it’s his humanity. He explained everything clearly, supported me emotionally, and made me feel safe at every stage. After the operation, he c...
Read moreI am truly grateful to Mr Mohamed Mabrouk for the exceptional care he provided. He was incredibly kind from the very first consultation, taking the time to listen to my concerns and explain everything with patience and clarity. His calm, reassuring manner gave me the confidence I needed to go ahead with the surgery, and I always felt I was in the hands of someone deeply knowledgeable and experienced. The care I received before, during, and after the procedure was outstanding, and I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon. I highly recommend Mr Mabrouk to anyone seeking a compassionate and highly skilled gynaecologist.
A really kind doctor who was careful to explain all options
Mr Mabrouk and his team were amazing. I felt supported and looked after, and received excellent advice. I can't recommend enough.
I can't recommend Mr Mabrouk and his team enough. I'd been suffering over 10 years of pain, and a lot of unknowns from previous medical professionals. What was deemed 'complex' and 'unsure what the signs and symptoms are' to others in the field, Mr Mabrouk and his team found the answers seamlessly. From bookings and assistance from Rosie, through to investigations, diagnosis, surgery and aftercare, the whole team were brilliant. Mr Mabrouk and his team listened, heard what i was saying throughout, and my needs were always put first through their genuine care, empathy and knowledge - i felt i was in good hands at all points throughout the journey. Mr Mabrouk is very knowledgeable and empathetic, and me and my partner were informed throughout, which highlights a massive difference in what was previously experienced. The high level of expertise and care has undoubtably changed my life which i will forever be grateful, i feel i'm finally getting my life back! I wouldn't trust anyone else with managing this disease going forwards - Mr Mabrouk and his team have been incredbile!
Professor Mabrouk is clearly an expert at what he does. My dealings with him have always been positive - he listens and genuinely cares. He takes time to understand what I need and also to explain so that I understand every step of the process. I am delighted that I trusted him with my surgery.
Excellent surgeon, great colleague. My first choice if my loved ones need an operation. Very highly recommend.
