The results of the surgery weren’t what we were all expecting, but Mr Khazali was able to provide an explanation about the findings which will be discussed during the follow up appointment. My journey to being diagnosed with endometriosis was very difficult and at times stressful. Despite this being a relatively common condition, medical colleagues i saw previously, appeared to be quite limited in both knowledge of the condition and how to successfully manage patients. After emergency surgery this year, I was given a diagnosis of severe endometriosis. Despite being referred to a local endometriosis centre and seeing multiple consultants; i was still yet to find a surgeon both wiling and capable to deal with my 'complex' case. After many months of searching and seeing 'specialists' in this area, both on the NHS and privately, I finally came across Mr Khazali. He was able to listen to my journey thus far and also acknowledge my concerns. I felt heard and respected. I also felt reassured that i was under the right surgeon to successfully manage my case. Mr Khazali is a very caring and sympathetic professional, who is the best in his field and ensures all of his patients receive the best possible care. Over the space of a few months, he was able to plan my surgery and co-ordinate my care. I am now in the recovery phase and feeling very positive about what the future holds. I was very fortunate for Mr Khazali to take on my case and will be forever grateful to both him and his extensive team for the care they have provided. No endometriosis case is too 'complex' for him; he goes above and beyond to find a solution. I hope others will read this review and give him the chance to change their lives and finally receive the right treatment that all endometriosis patients deserve.

I was amazed by his empathy, I felt heard for the first time. I was asked what I thought was the best option for me while still received the most professional advice from a medical standpoint. I felt reassured and in safe hands. While all the tests prior to surgery didn’t show much I was experiencing severe symptoms of Endometriosis. Dr Khazali was willing to help and I just can’t still believe 8weeks post surgery how much my everyday life has improved!! I have my diagnosis but most of all I don’t remember the last time I felt as good as I feel today and it is all thanks to him.

After 20 years of suffering with endometriosis I saw Mr Khazali. Prior to the appointment he asked for me to send through correspondence from previous consultants and he had clearly read it all prior to seeing me. This had never happened before and I usually spent a lot of previous appts explaining the history of my condition so it was refreshing change. He was very sympathetic to my condition and provided options for a way forward. On the day of my surgery he thoroughly explained everything that was going to happen, after the surgery he went through the procedure. He was always very clear in his explanations making sure I understood what was happening. I'm very happy with the treatment i received.

I travelled from the West Midlands especially to have a procedure under Mr Khazali’s care. His surgical team and nursing team on the ward were amazing in both, their pre-op and post-op care. Mr Khazali coordinated all aspects of my care in an efficient and organised way. I was really impressed with the care he provided and the way he organised my procedure. I’m very grateful for everything he has done for me thus far in my endometriosis journey.
