I underwent surgery at the end of September to repair an umbilical hernia, core stomach muscle repair, tummy tuck and liposuction. Having met Matt the year before when he carried out a bilateral earlobe repair to my badly split earlobes, I had no hesitation in asking him for his help and advice again. Due to the hernia and muscle separation, not to mention the large overhang I had following a hysterectomy a few years ago, I plucked up the courage to go ahead with surgery and I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. Three months on and already the results have superseded my expectations. I won't lie, I was scared stiff at the thought of such a major surgery, but after a couple of consultations prior to making a final decision, I felt completely reassured and certain that I wanted to go ahead. I was actually surprised how calm I felt on the day of surgery and I attribute this to Matt and his wonderful team at the Real Clinic, Battersea. My surgery was around 8.30am and I was home by 4pm that afternoon with Matt's mobile number in case of any worries or concerns. There is of course some pain and discomfort following any major surgery which I fully expected, but I was surprised that I only needed a combination of ibuprofen and paracetamol for the first few weeks. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Matt. He's a true genius and also very kind and genuinely caring of his patients. Thanks again Matt, you've totally changed my life. I look and feel better than I have for many years!

I had my fifth planned C-section with Dr. Sotiris Nicholas, and understandably I was quite stressed going into it. From the very beginning, however, he did everything possible to put me at ease and truly made the experience positive and reassuring. He was incredibly attentive and thoughtful—for example, he avoided me having to endure a double needle prick when the lady came to collect the baby’s cord blood. Throughout the procedure, he explained every step clearly, letting me know exactly what he was doing and what to expect, which helped me feel calm and in control. As a lovely bonus, he also took beautiful photos for us in the operating theatre, which we will treasure. I am extremely grateful for his care, professionalism, and kindness, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for such an important moment.

Jeremy has been my dentist for 25 years and I am not blessed with teeth or gums so have had a fair amount of treatment . Filings , crowns and recently added a second implant to the first which was about 8 years ago. The two implants are side by side and Jeremy has gone above and beyond to ensure the best fit of these “new “teeth., including removing them both last week to send to the brilliant technician and find a better way by moulding them as a pair, so as to sit with less gap at gum level. It’s an easy recommendation. Nicky his dental nurse is empathetic and Dorota as the face of Bliss Dental is worth her weight in gold. Thank you one and all.

Zachary the audiologist was new to me, but every bit as likeable, knowledgable and engaged as every other audiologist I've had the pleasure to consult with at Harley St Hearing. He really listened to, and answered clearly and thoroughly to every question. He found a less mainstream solution ("Frequency Lowering or compression "), to a nuanced hearing issue I have, which he suggested we tried, and delighted to say it worked extremely well in my case. I can't recommend this practice enough!

Everything went ok but if I had one criticism it would be I felt that the surgical area was very busy and needed more nurses . I was left in my room with no one coming in for quite a long time and although offered a coffee after the procedure I eventually had to ring my bell and a Dr came and brought me a coffee . Luckily I am not a nervous patient but if I had been there wasn’t enough contact with nursing staff . They’d appear and say they were going to do something and then disappear and not come back .

My flu jab was administered by a highly experienced nurse called Helen who was very friendly and reassuring. I remained at the practice for 10 minutes to ensure I was okay and the then left the practice. All in All a five star experience!
