Moorfields truly deserves its reputation as the best eye hospital in the world. Mr Pal is an exceptional surgeon—highly knowledgeable, calm, polite, and genuinely caring. I have been living with diabetic retinopathy for a long time, and the fear of losing my sight has been constant. Thanks to Mr Pal’s expertise and treatment, my vision is now stable, and I feel reassured that my eyesight is safe. I am also deeply grateful to the entire team who supported me throughout this journey. Mr Pal’s secretary was wonderful, and the lady I spoke to on the phone took the time to explain every step clearly and patiently. She followed up with a detailed yet easy-to-understand email outlining the treatment and costs, which made a very daunting situation much easier to manage. The nursing staff were equally outstanding—kind, attentive, and reassuring at every stage. While the treatment is expensive, it is absolutely worth it when it comes to preserving your eyesight. After living in fear for so long, this care has given me peace of mind and hope again. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Mr Pal. I discovered him purely by chance through an acquaintance, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Moorfields Eye Hospital and Mr Pal to anyone. Whilst time waiting to see Mr Khan was very quick , if I'd arrived any later I wouldn't have completed my check in and, I arrived more than the recommended 15 mins early more staff on reception required plus I don't think self checking in on tablets helps , whilst fine for me others clearly needed help.After seeing Mr Khan I needed follow up appointments for a scan and,blood/urine tests . Having waited at 1 reception for 15 minutes area to make an appointment for the tests to be brusquely told to go and make my scan appointment as it "Would save time" .When I'm 2 away from the desk don't think it was about saving my time.Then wait at the radiology department reception for another 15 minutes as only 1 person on reception, told they'll need to check with the radiologist and, would call me today as yet they haven't. Return to main outpatient reception to book tests and, amazingly I've now got 6 people in front of me ...finally get to the desk to be told can't do blood test as no one there to do them .Now had there been but because of time wasted there no longer was ? Not impressed by The Spire on this occasion, Mr Khan yes , but everything else no .

My visit to see Dr Ramcharan was very well organised and an appointment was offered within two weeks. On the day of the consultation, we received a call to confirm our attendance and to provide additional information about parking arrangements, which was greatly appreciated. This made a difficult situation feel far less overwhelming. I attended the appointment with my teenage daughter at The Vesey Hospital, where all members of staff were kind, reassuring and genuinely supportive, during what was understandably a worrying time. Dr Ramcharan engaged directly with my daughter, taking the time to obtain a comprehensive medical history before clarifying further details with me and outlining the structure of the appointment. He demonstrated extensive knowledge, along with an empathetic approach, and carried out a full, holistic examination. His explanations were clear, accessible, and easy for both of us to understand. We are both very grateful for the care my daughter received and I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Ramcharan.

When I read Mr. Keenan’s profile as I was trying to choose a surgeon to replace my arthritic hip, I felt that he was someone who would communicate as well as someone with excellent knowledge and skills to perform my needed operation, and that was confirmed upon meeting him at the initial consultation. He also displayed a quiet confidence and was very approachable at all times, which put me at ease. I was naturally very anxious about having this operation, but I completely trusted in his ability to do an excellent job. He visited me in my room before the operation, and also every day thereafter during my stay, allowing me opportunities to ask any questions that had arisen in my mind, as well as reassuring me of my progress. At the follow-up appointment he likewise reassured me about the success of the operation as well as the condition of my other joints, which had also been x-rayed prior to the procedure. I am very happy with Mr. Keenan in all aspects of this experience.

I have had various symptoms of perimenopause over the last year or so but it came to a head a few months ago when i had a severe panic attack and seemed to develop anxiety. I am finding this difficult to cope with and the GP didn't seem to help me. I met with Dr Colquhoun and she was lovely, provided me with alot of information and advice and took me and my symptoms seriously. As a result I now have a course of action and have had HRT prescribed and a coil fitted. Whilst this is all new to me, i am feeling very positive about this plan and hopeful that I can start to feel like myself again!

I noticed the cleanliness of the office and waiting rooms. A very polite gentleman dealt with our car parking charge and wished us well - this was noted too. We were also kept informed of why the appointment was slightly late - this too was most appreciated since others in the waiting room were going ahead of us despite having later appointments. Simple things do make all the difference. Appointment itself was efficient as was the subsequent X-ray test downstairs. All in all - very pleased.

my physio therapist was most helpful. I have been seeing him about once every 2 months. He always asks about my progress from the last visit and we then work on the areas that I pick out. This time he showed me various exercises relevant to my current situation. I did the exercises with his supervisio0n and I found that most valuable as he could show me what I got ok and how I could do the exercise better
