Usually feedback is of a negative nature but this is not one of those occasions. My experience was awesome for which I am super grateful. I have had a number of gastroscopies in my life so was nervous about what was going to happen. From the moment of my arrival I was greeted and made to feel comfortable straight away. The pre-procedure nurses were very clear, helpful and showed huge amounts of empathy about what was going to happen. When wheeled into the operating theatre I was introduced to all of the team who were to perform the procedure, all of whom had welcoming smiles and a reassuring tone (a tone that continued throughout the procedure). Dr Alan Watson was super clear, professional and again very comforting. I knew I was in safe hands. I just had a throat spray, no sedation, so was fully aware of what was going on. One action that was performed by a nurse during the procedure was to, comfortingly, rub my shoulder. I couldn’t see who it was, but such a small, seemingly insignificant action, was hugely important to me and kept me connected with humanity during the brutal fact that I had a scope down my throat. Post procedure, I was greeted with the warm smiles again and wheeled to the recovery area where again everyone was super attentive. I can’t say thank you enough for everything. The team were awesome.

Mr Christopher Mark Andrews

I found it easy to book an appointment to see Mr. Andrews and the consultation was thorough and my condition was explained to me in terms that I easily understood. Mr. Andrews arranged for me to have an MRI scan and the appointment came through within days. The MRI scan procedure was simple and again everything was explained to me. I am having a telephone conversation with Mr. Andrews this week to find out the results of my scan and discuss the way forward. Mr. Andrews replaced a hip joint for me thirteen years ago which was life changing for me , as I am a farmer. This enabled me to go about my farming activities free from pain and regaining my mobility. I can't speak highly enough of Mr. Andrews.

I recently had a procedure under the care of Dr Okeke. From the very first appointment, he was very professional and caring towards my symptoms and immediately knew what I needed. He explained everything clearly and reassured me when I was nervous. On the day of the operation, he visited me in my ward before operating to ensure I was feeling ok. His calm, professional and caring approach made me feel like I was in the best hands possible, which helped me to relax. 6 weeks on from my op, everything has healed really well and I’m delighted with the result. I can finally live without the symptoms I experienced before and feel very grateful for the care I received. Thank you Dr Okeke!

I met mr Rob Bethune at a preliminary meeting to discuss having a hernia repair. He explained everything very clearly and I decided to go ahead and have it done. On the day of the procedure I was escorted to a room to await my turn. The procedur was done under a local anesthletic and took about an hour and I was conscious all the time and then taken back to my room. I was allowed home after about an hour. I was a bit uncomfortable for about a week but have been 100 percent since with no repercussions. Mr Rob Bethune is a great surgeon.

Diagnosis clearly and professionally explained. Tried medication first and then carried out the procedure as symptoms continued. Again, very clearly explained and I was well prepared and knew what to expect. Pre and post procedure care were also both excellent. Whilst too early to tell conclusively, the procedure went as planned with very little discomfort and symptoms have so far ceased. Not necessarily an experience I would choose but given the necessity, everything went very well and I was made to feel very comfortable throughout.

The New Vic --- now known as the 'BUPA New Victoria' --- is a smallish but excellent private hospital situated just off the A3 between Wimbledon and Kingston. It has recently been enlarged and its large Reception is now most welcoming. So far as I know, the rooms are all of the ground floor and overlook well-maintained gardens. Surgical procedures that my family and I have had at the New Vic over the last thirty years have all been trouble-free and successful.

Britany was absolutely incredible. I am blown away by the extra lengths she went to, to research my condition and check with all the medics and then put together an appropriate plan for me. And for her help liaising with my health insurer. She was so thoughtful and caring - I have honestly never experienced anything like it. Britany went so far above and beyond. Thank you. And, I am now fully recovered from my frozen shoulder without surgery!

Grace waudby took my initial assessment on a video link she took her time and explained every and asked about everything. The assignment was supposed to be 30mins it took longer. When I went in for the viscual assessment she came and introduced herself again. Which was nice she did but never had too. That show me that she is very thoughtful and caring about my journey though this hard process thank you grace all the best in your future

Mr Davies was excellent throughout my initial consultation, operation and post operative care. I had all the information about my condition and the procedure explained in detail along with all my questions answered in detail. I would also like to comment on Mr Davies surgical skills, I’m super impressed with the neatness of the scar tissue and the dressings applied post surgery. I would absolutely recommend Mr Davies.

After my original consultation with a orthopaedic surgeon at a physiotherapy clinic in Doncaster, he wanted to put me on his list. He said I could have a new knee and be fit for Christmas. I said. I want Mr Haslam to operate on my right knee..I trust him. I haven't had any issues with my left knee. He operated on my friends Son's torn ligamentes. He'll br back playing Rugby again soon. Mr Paul Haslam is a genius

I can’t remember everyone’s name but they were all wonderful including the ladies on reception. I hope I don’t have a recurrence, but if I do I will come back to the Bristol clinic without hesitation
