My encounter with Mr Abbas was both interesting and enlightening. He listened to what I had to say and explained what the results of the x ray and what can be done. Mr Abbas put me at my ease from the moment I walked in and when I left we had a plan of action. In all it was a very pleasant experience.

We live in a time when ‘five stars out of five’ is considered normal; there is then no way of registering true excellence. I suffered from severe back and leg pain due to spinal stenosis where unwanted bony growths in the spine inpinge on the spinal cord. His surgical skills during a four hour operation under microscope to remove many bony spurs without damaging the nerve,, judging by results, are superb. Even now he is researching for even better technique. From diagnosis to the final consultation, I could not have hoped for better.

Mr Abbas made me feel very relaxed from my first consultation with him. He was very direct and knew what was needed to be done. However he was not pushy on me having the operation after second consultation some pain had got better so he was honest and explained on how he treats the patient not always the MRI. Therefore being a self funding patient I didnt find himpushing me towards the operation, if anything the opposite. However I did opt for the operation and all has gone very well. 1 day post op I’m feeing good. I would highly recommend Mr Abbas.

I went to see Mr Abbas several weeks ago after long suffering lower back pain and spasms with numbness here and there in my legs and toes..struggling to go to toilet I covered this up by just taking more and more pain relief.. I had an MRI where I had L4 and L5 issues and compression against the nerves lower down. Mr Abbas was excellent.. he put my mind at rest and within 2 weeks he operated on me to resolve my issues . What a fantastic man .. very approachable and understanding.I am so glad I saw him, his operational team and after care was first class.. I am now in week 4 of recovery and start physio next week. I can now stand up without excessive pain .. my bowel movement is back to normal . My libido is far better now too and all numbness has disappeared completely. I’m gradually weaning off pain relief and apart from feeling a bit weak I am building my strength back up. Mentally I’m feeling much better as this situation was really getting me down before, as I just ignored it.. I really would say if you have an issues then Mr.Abbas is your man .. I can’t speak highly enough of him. Thank you Mr Abbas for getting my life back to some normality ….
