About Dr Borzoueh Mohammadi
Mr Borzoueh (Boz) Mohammadi is an experienced robotic, laparoscopic and open consultant Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgeon. He qualified from the Royal Free Hospital in 1999, passing with Distinction, winning multiple academic prizes.
He completed his higher training in London and was appointed as a consultant surgeon at University College London Hospital (UCLH) in 2013 . He is the Chair of Department of Foregut Surgery and Medicine at Cleveland Clinic London, and the Director of the OG Cancer Pathway Board, London Cancer Alliance. He is an Honorary Associate Professor at UCL and leads the Robotic surgical programme at UCLH.
Mr Mohammadi has an expanding interest in, and manages, a wide range of complex cases that require tertiary centre referral. He has gained a reputation for being an outstanding trainer with excellent published national surgical outcomes.

Before booking an appointment with Dr Mohammadi I checked his reviews which were very good. I’m happy to say he lived up to his reviews. He made me feel at ease from my very first consultation. He really listened and explained my options carefully, answering all of my questions. I didn’t feel rushed during my appointment and it was made clear that i could contact him should i any further questions or concerns. On the day of my procedure he again went through everything and told my husband he would call him with an update as soon as he had degloved which my husband appreciated. He actually commented on how reassuring and calm Dr Mohammadi was. My follow up appointment was more of the same
Boz is an empathetic surgeon. He makes you feel comfortable with his manner and thorough explanation of the process and recovery.
I recently had an epigastric hernia repair with Dr Boz Mohammadi and from start to finish the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the very first consultation, I felt that I was in the safest hands possible. The surgery went smoothly and my recovery has gone extremely well, save that I suffered a collapse on the way home from the hospital and went to urgent care at a separate hospital. Boz was on call immediately and liaised with the medical professionals on duty to ensure I was transferred back to the Cleveland Clinic and re-admitted overnight. Boz came to visit the following day for a check-in and I was then discharged. I have had no issues at all since then and am now back at work, without any issues. I can honestly say I have never had such an exceptional experience with a medical professional. Boz is in a league of his own and it was a privilege to be under his care. He is not only brilliant as a surgeon, but his client care is truly unparalleled. I cannot thank him enough!

Dr Mohammadi is always a pleasure to see. He is knowledgeable, kind and takes time to check you are ok. I also experienced hives after my surgery and he was quick to follow me up in clinic to ensure this could be resolved quickly. He has great bedside manner and explains everything clearly and reassuringly. A true gem!
