I could not fault Mr Mehta, he was friendly, professional, empathetic and very reassuring.

I went to Mr Mehra for a second opinion on a cancer diagnosis. Unfortunately due to the speed at which I needed/wanted to proceed, plus it was over Xmas and NY, I was unable to totally switch the procedure, despite the best efforts of his wonderful PA, Anant. I did not want to postpone for a further 10 days even. However, Mr Mehra was invaluable in being able to clearly explain my diagnosis, likely outcomes, and the operation and possible further treatments that would be required. His warm, clear and personal 'bedside manner' was in clear contrast to my existing consultant (who is highly regarded and an excellent surgeon). Mr Mehra had a clear grasp of my case from the outset, and was mentally recalling aspects of my scans and personal details, without the need to check his notes. Being diagnosed with cancer is incredibly scary yet being able to see Mr Mehra helped me enormously, and it is of some regret that we were not able to find a slot soon enough at that particular time.

Mr. Mehra had such a lovely attitude. He was so calm and reassuring. Also - due to the surgical procedure taking much longer than anticipated, he went above and beyond, staying later to complete.

All was great except having to come back a different day for an US scan as I do not love nearby.

I am so happy that I can finally get on with my life after years of being ignored by other doctors, I was finally given my diagnosis. I cannot thank Mr Mehra enough for his kindness, professionalism and the best care during my stay in hospital. He is thorough and makes sure every test, scan and detail are checked before he is happy to discharge. I had the same operation 8 years ago and was so ill afterwards due to a lack of care from previous consultants, but not this time, I was provided with the right advice and medication. Fantastic and a rare breed of Consultant. Thank you very much Mr Mehra.
