Mr Matthew John Rewhorn

Mr Matthew Rewhorn is a Consultant Urologist and Clinical Lead for Urology at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Clyde sector. He specialises in andrology, focusing on men’s health and the surgical management of penile and scrotal conditions. He is one of three consultant urologists in the West of Scotland providing specialist treatment for rare genital cancers and complex andrological conditions.

Mr Rewhorn graduated from the University of Edinburgh before completing his surgical and urology training in the West of Scotland. He subsequently undertook a fellowship at the internationally recognised Institute of Andrology at University College London, training under Professors Asif Muneer and David Ralph. During this time, he developed advanced expertise in complex penile reconstruction, penile and testicular cancer surgery, erectile dysfunction, and Peyronie’s disease.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr Rewhorn is actively engaged in academic research and education. He has presented his work at national and international conferences, published in peer-reviewed journals, and contributed to several medical book chapters.
