I'm Dr Matt Milner MBBS, FRCEM, founder of Vitruvian Health UK. I initially created my health optimisation clinic back in 2017, at a time when a more holistic approach to healthcare was in its infancy.
My philosophy has always been in maximising vitality and functionality, that ‘prevention’ is always better than ‘cure’, compared to the culture of relying on 'band-aid' western medicine that has unfortunately crept into modern day practice.
I graduated from St George's medical school in 2000, went on to become a Specialist Registrar in Emergency Medicine, training at London teaching hospitals such as St Thomas's and Kings College, also gaining a broader experience, working at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney, Australia.
On gaining my fellowship in emergency medicine, I have been working as an ED Consultant at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust (MTW) since 2011. Management roles at MTW have included being Director of Major Trauma and Guardian of Safe Working.
Outside of the NHS sector since 2017, I am currently the Medical Director for MedEvent Medical Services, providing pre-hospital large event medical cover. This included a humanitarian project for over 3yrs with the Home Office. Other avenues have included being featured on the BBC documentary series 'Hospital Heroes', being a rugby club physician and having a monthly column in the fitness magazine Flex Uk.
Evidenced by the 1000s of patients I have treated in the emergency department, the pre-hospital environment and in my private practice, these opportunities have given me a unique insight into how lifestyle choices cause acute/long term detriment to individuals everyday health and wellbeing and this has allowed me the privilege of making a real difference to countless clients' quality of life and performance.
Over the years of my clinical practice, I have had a wide array of clients including WSM competitors, Hollywood actors, World Cup winning rugby players, Olympia bodybuilders, to 'stay at home' dads, all receiving unique care tailored to their specific needs.
Outside of the medical domain, I enjoy daily countryside dog walks, classical music, resistance training, cooking family meals from scratch, taxiing my daughters to evening training sessions and studying ancient history.
At Vitruvian Health UK, I provide health MOTs, health optimisation assessments, bespoke blood testing, ECG screening, private prescribing and onward recommended specialist referrals, if indicated.

'health is wealth'. Thanks for your really kind words. I'm very lucky that I see individuals who are like-minded. It makes my work, not work!
Was a very thorough heath overhaul. Dr Matt is my go to for longevity and wellness advise.

Great to hear!
I visited Dr Milner for a health MOT and blood tests. I had just turned 51 and never had a decent medical. Dr Milner fully explained the process and was knowledgeable and informative. Following the consultation I received a detailed report highlighting issues within the blood results. Dr Milner followed up with a video call to explain the results and what I could do to start to reverse these results, with diet changes and use of supplements. Within a fortnight of following Dr MIlners advice I have lost half a stone and feel so much better.

Great news. Working with clients that have a similar life ethic makes my job so much easier.
I highly recommend Dr. Matt Milner for women’s healthcare, especially for women navigating their late 40s. He is incredibly professional, thorough, and understands the unique health changes that come with this stage of life. During my visit, he took my bloods and used the results to create a highly personalised wellness plan. He tailored a specific regimen of vitamins and supplements to optimise my health and balance my changing system. A great doctor who provides such proactive, targeted care for midlife women's health.

Thanks for the detailed feedback regarding your visit. Maintaining productivity, functionality and energy as we age, is a vital asset.
My Experience I can honestly say that working with my doctor has been a really positive experience and has helped me take important steps towards becoming healthier and feeling more balanced. What I particularly value is his knowledge and understanding of the body and its homeostasis — the way the body works to maintain balance. He takes a thorough approach, including looking at my hormones and arranging comprehensive blood tests, rather than simply treating individual symptoms in isolation. I feel that he genuinely looks at the bigger picture and works with me to understand what my body needs to get back on track. Because he is a fully qualified physician with the appropriate medical education and credentials, I have confidence in his clinical knowledge and in his ability to prescribe treatments when he believes they are appropriate. That gives me reassurance that I am being guided by someone with the medical expertise to make informed decisions about my health. Another thing that really stands out is how responsive he is. Whenever I have had questions or queries, he has been very good at getting back to me. I genuinely don’t think I have ever had to wait longer than 12 hours for a response — and, to be fair, it has usually been much quicker than that. Having that level of communication and support makes a huge difference and makes me feel listened to and looked after. I am very grateful for the support, knowledge and care he has given me so far. I feel that I am finally taking a more informed and comprehensive approach to my health, and I would highly recommend him t...

Thanks for you detailed feedback. Much appreciated. My clinic is not mass-market conveyor belt medicine. Healthcare is about developing long term relationships in this sector.
I saw Dr Milner in the company of my wife, with us both having health MOT checks, blood tests for our personal needs and screening ECGs. Dr Milner was attentive to our questions and gave us practical science based advice with regards health interventions, we needed to make short and longterm. Highly recommended.

Thanks for your kind words. Making health adaptions are always easier, when it becomes a team approach as a family.
It was my first time seeing Dr Matt in his health optimisation clinic. Dr Matt took a thorough history from me, performed a careful clinical examination and with the findings of the bespoke bloodwork I had taken, provided me with a detailed report and an opportunity for a telephone follow-up for any queries I might have. I found Dr Matt service to be the most thorough medical assessment I have ever had and gave me food for thought, oa lifestyle changes I needed to make to improve my long-term health. Many thanks!

Thanks for your review. I always make sure my assessments are personal and a thorough understanding is achieved of what the next steps are.
I was referred to Dr Milner by a friend, I had concerns about taking statins. Dr Milner was clear and articulate with his explanations and I now understand more about how I can control my problematic high cholesterol

Glad I could help. Look forward to seeing you optimising your health going forward.
I went to see Matt because i needed help with cholesterol and blood pressure lowering. I was a bit lost with all the information that is out there that is conflicting and needed some straight talking good advice. Matt is very knowledgable and is able to break down information in a way thats easy to understand and provide a pathway for me to follow to improve my overall well being. He is thorough and professional but a realist at the same time, highly recommend him.

lipid management is complex and ever evolving. I really enjoy metabolic health,
I can’t recommend Dr. Matt highly enough. He took the time to thoroughly investigate my blood work and identify deficiencies that had been affecting my energy and overall wellbeing. Rather than offering a quick fix, he looked at the bigger picture and recommended a supplement plan tailored to my needs. The difference has been remarkable, my energy levels, mood, and general wellbeing have improved significantly. Throughout the process, Dr. Matt was professional, caring, and incredibly thorough. He always followed up, answered questions, and genuinely seemed invested in helping me feel better. I only wish more doctors took the same level of care and attention. Thank you, Dr. Matt, for making such a positive difference.

Appreciate the feedback. It's great to hear you have had objective improvements in your health soon after seeing me.
Dr Milner is a wonderful colleague, a pleasure to work with and would certainly recommend him.
