I am having treatment for macular and glaucoma problems at the Stanley Eye Hospital in Abergele but wanted to be reassured about the use of one treatment I was receiving at the hospital, in particular about the time period between injections which was causing my eyesight to deteriorate before the subsequent injection improved it again. I wanted to know if my eyesight would still return to the improved state although it had deteriorated in the meantime due to the time interval between injections. Mr. Mathews was able to reassure me that this would not be a problem and that a longer lasting drug would probably be offered to me at the Eye Hospital at my next appointment. Mr. Mathews is a genial and thorough gentleman who took the time to explain to me about my conditions, something that had not been explained fully to me in my previous consultations elsewhere. I was also reassured about my current situation and my prognosis. My consultation was relaxed and I never felt that I was being rushed. All Mr. Mathews's nursing and reception colleagues were extremely friendly, helpful and professional and I was put completely at ease before seeing Mr. Mathews. I was invited back by Mr. Mathews at any time in the future should I require more reassurance or an opinion on my current treatment at that time. I cannot overstate how satisfied I was with my experience at the NW Eye Specialist Centre. A huge "Thank you" to all the staff.

I had a knee replacement in September and recently came back for a review. The care and attention to detail that I received during my stay at the Priory Hospital with Consultant Mr Shakir Hussain has been exceptional, He really does look after you any concerns are explained and have are dealt with speedily and nothing is too much trouble. He explained how the procedures had gone and I was able to see my new knee replacement which was a nice surprise. He checked on the movement now in my knee and was pleased with the progress made. He had previously explained the importance of doing the exercises and was crucial to aid your recovery. Mr Shakir Hussain has been outstanding, he is knowledgeable,, understanding, cheerful and has done this procedure many times , prepares you for the journey ahead with an honest outlook. Well done Mr Shakir Hussain, his great team, the recovery unit, the nursing staff, catering team who have made this experience for me a pleasant and memorable one. Thank you and well done.

I'm absolutely delighted with the outcome of my TKR. Prior to the op, walking had become excruciating. Now I don't even think about it and can walk everywhere, swim and exercise as much as I want. Thinking back, my initial recovery was slower and more painful than I had imagined (I'm not a patient person!) - despite Mr Brew being totally straightforward about this from the very beginning. All I can say now is that it was entirely worth it. My advice to anyone else would be to accept recovery may take time, to take painkillers regularly as advised, to follow exercise plans as rigorously as you can manage without overdoing it (and above all without comparing your progress to anyone else's!), and to try to enjoy the rest (films on iPad can be a great distraction!). In addition to the surgery itself, Mr Brew and the Yorkshire Clinic have been very supportive and encouraging. I couldn't have asked for a kinder and more professional approach.

Mr Armstrong is very professional, personable and liked by everyone I've encountered who works with him along my journey be that receptionists, nurses and the anesthesiologist team. His bedside manner is excellent and always asking if I need anything explaining further or if I'm happy with what's been discussed and decided on. He will give you the option to tell him your expectations and then tell you if it's surgically possible or not but ultimately the last say from what I understand is down to the patient. I wouldn't hesitate to book another surgery with Mr Armstrong if I wanted or needed it I feel 100% safe in his more than capable hands.

We had a really good experience with Mr Agrawal and the Hartswood Hospital. Everyone was really helpful and took care to ensure that Reg, who is 91 years old, understood what was going on and had everything he needed. Mr Agrawal had a very relaxed and professional manner and was easy to understand. He took time to carefully explain the procedure and what Reg needed to do prior to the operation. Mr Agrawal visited Reg, in the hospital, before and after the operation. He had a very nice manner and explained what was happening. Overall, we had an excellent experience.

Fit2function is the best physio clinic I have visited. As a sportsman, physio is an important part of my routine for both rehab and prehab. Many of the clinics I have attended don’t accommodate sports and return to play. My experience at Fit2function was great. I saw Harrison, who is an ex athlete and understood my needs well. The equipment is modern and top of the range, and the philosophy is very aligned to returning to sport and having the best possible outcome. I would highly recommend them.

I had my baby at the Fitzrovia Suite on 29th September and spent 2 days there. The suite was spotless and very comfortable. Dr. Shalini, the anesthetist, and the entire team were exceptional. Special thanks to midwife Tasha and all the other midwives for their calm, kind, and supportive care. The food was fantastic too. Highly recommend!
