When I went for the original consultation I had requested Mr Ohly on the recommendation of a friend whose hip he had replaced. I had deliberately not looked up his credentials as I wanted the first hand impression. (Of course I would follow this up subsequently.) At the initial meeting I liked his approach. He covered a lot of ground in language which was accessible to someone not at all clear on how bad my knee was, far less what could be done. I was not talked down to, and thus I felt able to ask questions, the answers to which I really wanted to know in order to look at how I was going to manage the whole business mentally and physically. I knew so little at that point, but in the following months I read and slowly became clear on what was about to happen. During that time I sent him a few emails and his responses were always prompt and thorough. I was scheduled for the operation in early October, but for reasons beyond his control, it had to be postponed. None of my preparation had included that possibility. Having geared myself up for it, I was extremely distressed at this turn of events. Mr Ohly took time to talk me through the situation and reassure me. He could have left it to someone else, but he did not. By the time I got to the operation I had full confidence in him because of how he had treated me as a human being. He knew I was scared and he managed that very well. I was not dismissed. When he came to see me after the operation he was professional and kindly. I was just relieved. In my follow up meeting he very shrewdly picked up on my concerns and dealt with them well. Seven weeks on I can see a future which I had thought was disappearing as my life shrank to cope with the pain I was enduring. I will never climb Mount Everest but I can climb stairs, something I could only do with extreme distress two months ago.

This doctor (Mahesh) has completely transformed life with chronic constipation. The appointment started with a really thorough, calm discussion of a long history of symptoms, and for the first time everything felt properly listened to and joined up. The examination was focused and not excessive, just what was needed to work out the next steps. The colonoscopy was explained clearly beforehand, carried out gently, and felt very safe throughout, with clear results and what they meant. Afterwards, a newer laxative was recommended alongside very practical dietary changes and pre‑/probiotic advice, all tailored to day‑to‑day routines rather than some leaflets. ​ Since then, bowel habits have improved dramatically, pain and bloating are so much better, and normal life feels possible again. It genuinely feels like someone finally understood the problem and offered a long‑term plan rather than a quick fix, and I have a huge gratitude for the care and expertise given.

I had an ADHD evaluation at Diverse Minds Clinic. I did some research before booking, and I chose Diverse Minds Clinic since the psychiatrist, Dr Alex Cappai, also works for the NHS ADHD service. Dr. Alex Cappai listened to me and made me feel heard. She was quite friendly, and I felt at ease during the assessment. I was diagnosed with Adult ADHD mixed type in my fifties, which was a bittersweet finding. Dr. Cappai provided me with practical counsel that was extremely beneficial, as well as the time I needed to comprehend my diagnosis. The staff at Diverse Minds Clinic have been really professional and helpful throughout the process, and I would strongly suggest this service.

I attended Luiza’s group classes initially and then moved on to 1-to-1 sessions once I was heavily pregnant. She has an incredible ability to modify exercises to suit each person’s individual needs, even within a group setting. Her attention to detail, precision, and ability to make subtle adjustments made a huge difference to my strength and mobility throughout pregnancy. On top of that, she’s a genuinely lovely and caring person, which makes such a difference when you’re navigating pregnancy. It’s easy to see why her classes are always booked weeks in advance. Her physiotherapy background really shows and adds an extra layer of confidence and safety to everything she does.

We were lucky enough to get into the appointment before our allotted time. Mr Mohammad seemed like a very nice person, but I felt very rushed, I wasn’t shown the MRI scan, The situation was not explained to us in depth,just offered options of an injection or surgery involving “metal work” which scared me somewhat. So I chose the injection as seemed a less scary choice to start with. We were told this would be put forward, then we left , all taking about five minutes, not really very reassuring. Hopefully I may get another chance for someone to explain what the operation with the “ metal work” would involve. So I would feel more confident with what needs to be done

I had my just under 3 year old toddler meet Dr Devereux last week at the end of my tether, as I was not getting the answers from other health care avenues with regards to my daughter's gradual deteriorating health. Dr Devereaux went above and beyond to carry out an extensive assessment and came to the conclusion my daughter needed to go A&E. The professionalism, care and empathy I witnessed was beyond par, and it was thanks to the time and patience of the Dr, we were able to save my daughter from an existing brain tumour (unbeknown to us) from taking over. We are forever grateful to Dr Devereux and highly recommend this Dr to all.

I spent 3 days at the Royal Free PPU as an in-patient following major surgery and I have nothing but praise for the treatment I recieved from start to finish. My surgery was scheduled speedily, the operation went as well as hoped, and all of the PPU team members who took care of me - Consultants, Doctors, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Housekeeping - were professional but at the same time, kind and reassuring. I was really anxious about the surgery and for me, the care that I received as an in-patient, made the whole experience so much less stressful.

I went to see Mr Shukla about an issue with my finger. He was really great and we have a date to get the issue sorted. However, he went over and beyond for me - I mentioned my shoulder issue and whilst I went for an x-ray on my finger he (just because he was interested) pulled out my previous shoulder x-ray and offered me a solution that no one else has mentioned in the several years I have been having problems. I am still blown away by him and so grateful that I now have an option to sort my other issue! Thank you Mr S, you are my Christmas hero!

On Saturday, I attended Canterbury Hospital at 7:30 am for a minor operation on my finger. Two nurses looked after me and prepared me beforehand. Emma went out of her way to help. I had a very good discussion with the test and we decided that general anaesthetic would be the best route. Mr. Smith carried out the operation and I was lucky to see him afterwards when I came round and he said it had been completely successful. Everything seemed very calm, organised and professional. He's also a fabulous photographer in amongst the hubbub of c-section surgery!

I received shoulder surgery and was able to be discharged the same day. All of the nursing staff were friendly and informative, the physio treatment and advice was informative. All the staff I came across were very friendly. I especially enjoyed the roast dinner which was hot when served (a new experience). I would highly recommend Mr Khan and the London Independent hospital.

Miss Tipples is the absolute best. She was friendly and explained everything I asked. The day of my hysterectomy she was reassuring. I had keyhole surgery and 4 weeks post surgery and you can barely see the incisions. If you have to have this surgery I would absolutely recommend Miss Tipples.
