From start to finish Mr George was highly professional and an absolute gentleman. He actually listened to me where other consultants had failed to do so. He understood my pain and said I needed surgery. The day of my surgery Mr George explained everything to me before i was taken to theatre. After my surgery Mr George came to see me to explain what he had done and talk me through what I should and should not do. He also popped in to see me the day after surgery. I was seen by Mr George for a follow up appointment 5 weeks after my operation where again he explained what he had done and about my recovery. Mr George said he would contact me in 6 months to see how I was getting on. True to his word and at the exact time of my telephone appointment Mr George phoned to see how I was. I can not recommend Mr George highly enough. A truly wonderful man and surgeon !

Mr Dayo Adeyemo

Was recommended Mr Adeyemo by the Upper GI nurse at Hereford County Hospital. Had my initial consultation with him on 30th September when he recommended gallbladder removal. Found him very calming and knowledgeable at my first appointment and knew I’d made the right choice by picking him for my procedure. Was then booked in for the operation on 27th October, when I woke I had minimal pain and absolutely no gas pains. Recovery was good and went back to see him just over 7 weeks after the op to be checked over where he was pleased with my recovery and was happy to answer any questions I had. Overall I would highly recommend Mr Adeyemo and also found his secretary Alison extremely helpful wherever I needed to contact her for help or advise.

When I arrived at the hospital after travelling 1 hour 45 mins I was told the consultant I should have seen wasn't there😩The receptionist said maybe she could find someone else to help me?? That is when Dr Turab Syed stepped in.he was about to leave but took the time to see me. I found him very professional and friendly and easy to talk too🤗He examined me & asked lots of questions regarding my problem,I felt very at ease during the appointment.He suggested I get an MRI scan to find out more regarding my symptoms. Overall I found the experience spot on 5/5 most definitely👌👌

Dr. Emmanouil Koloutsos

When going in to get a third temporary crown I told Dr Koloutsos that I was not confident the crown would stay in place so was reconsidering my options. He was quite dismissive of this saying they are temporary crowns so are meant to come off easily. This comment was not appreciated. I finally did agree to have the full crown fitted but only after I was given a guarantee by Dr Koloutsos that if the crown falls off in the first year I would receive a full refund of the cost of the treatment.

This is a truly excellent service. I had been to another ear wax removal specialist a few days earlier who had failed to unblock my ears after half an hour of trying. I have a particular shape of ear canal that causes the wax to sit stubbornly on the ear drum. Rekesh is very personable and knowledgable and has a lovely comfortable treatment room. Within a few minutes he had completely unblocked both my ears, almost effortlessly. I was delighted and I highly recommend this service.

Prior to the surgery Mr Greg Jones explained everything about the procedure with empathy. During the operation Mr Jones and all his team were pleasant and courteous at at times. At the post operative visit I was impressed at how much detail we went through and even viewed some images of the surgery - this element is an optional extra service. Overall an excellent service which I would not hesitate to recommend..

Easy booking and what I felt were good time slots available. Considering the time the doctor spent on me against the rushed atmosphere of NHS GP services, I felt I got good value for money and a more thorough service. I will use Private GP Extra again if this current issue continues or if I/one of my family have a complex issue that I don't believe the NHS have the time/skill to handle in a standard GP setting.

I have reduced urine flow following a TURP in 2021.I have restarted using a catheter at night and during the day as necessary.Stephen Andrews had been my urologist post the TURP.He reviewed my background, carried out examination and recommended a diagnostic endoscopic examination scheduled for 22nd January.He reassured me that I should continue using a disposal catheter.
