About Mr Ahmed Moussa
Mr Ahmed Moussa is a UK-based Consultant Urologist and Andrologist specialising in men’s health and reconstructive urology, with a particular focus on foreskin conditions and penile surgery. His clinical practice includes adult circumcision for medical and elective indications such as phimosis, balanitis, and recurrent infections, alongside foreskin-preserving procedures like preputioplasty for tight foreskin. He also performs frenuloplasty to treat a short or tight frenulum causing pain or tearing, and penoscrotal web correction for anatomical webbing between the penis and scrotum.
In addition to foreskin and penile surgery, Mr Moussa has a broader focus on andrology and men’s health, including the diagnosis and management of erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, and male infertility. He is known for combining advanced surgical expertise with a patient-centred approach aimed at delivering safe and effective outcomes in sensitive urological conditions.
He holds senior NHS posts as Honorary Consultant Urologist and Andrologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Consultant Urologist & Lead for Andrology at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Moussa trained initially at Alexandria University, followed by early surgical training at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital in Oman. He later completed advanced urological training in the UK, including a specialist fellowship in Andrology, Male Infertility, and Genitourinary Reconstruction at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, a leading centre for complex penile and reconstructive surgery. He also holds a master’s degree in urology, with research focused on minimally invasive prostate treatments, and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Moussa is actively involved in medical education, supervising trainee doctors, teaching medical students from the University of Surrey, and contributing to academic development in urology and andrology.

I had box and tight foreskin every step of the way Ahmed answered all my questions and made me feel safe!
I was quite nervous before the procedure but Dr Moussa was very reassuring and he was very calm which helped me stay calm, during the procedure he was very clear about everything he was doing and did his best to keep me calm as I was getting a little stressed towards the end.
I went to the clinic in South Woodford for a circumcision due to religious and cultural reasons. The experience all the way from the initial booking of the appointment to the service I received in the day was top class. Ahmed was extremely knowledgeable and courteous regarding the procedure and gave me all the relevant information by email beforehand, even calling me the day before the procedure to run through any questions. This call was very detailed and he gave me lots of time. On the day, the service was seamless from start to finish. I was given local anaesthetic and plenty of information. Ahmed and the nurse present were respectful and communicative. The procedure took all of 40 minutes and I left with all relevant info, antibiotic prescription and Ahmed’s number incase of any issues. Overall, very pleased.
I had a very positive experience with Mr Ahmed Moussa. He was incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming, and he explained everything clearly before the circumcision. He made me feel calm and reassured before, during and after the procedure. The procedure itself was comfortable and handled with great care and professionalism. Chinedobi was also excellent—very professional, friendly and supportive. Together, they made me feel completely at ease and at home throughout the whole experience. I would highly recommend Mr Ahmed Moussa and his team.
Very informative no questions that i had went unanswered, laid out the expectations for the surgery realistically and made me aware of potential risks, recovery after the surgery went as expected, couldn’t have gone better.

I can't recommend Mr. Ahmed Moussa highly enough. He has quite literally saved my life more than once, and I will always be grateful for the exceptional care he has provided. His professionalism, expertise, and genuinely kind approach set him apart from other colleagues. He always made me feel supported, listened to, and in safe hands throughout my treatment. I would also like to thank his wonderful team for their dedication and compassion. They have all made a difficult journey much easier, and I will always be thankful for everything they have done for me.
