Mr. Sarosh Janardanan is a Consultant Urologist at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he serves as the Lead Clinician for Cancer Services, Speciality Cancer and Robotic Lead, Cancer MDT Chair, and Postgraduate Education Lead. He completed his medical degree at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in 2006 and went on to train in General Surgery at Government Medical College, Kottayam, where he was awarded Best Postgraduate Student in the MS General Surgery Exit Exam. He subsequently trained in minimally invasive surgery under Padmashree Prof. K. P. Haridas in Trivandrum, Kerala.

Mr Janardanan explained the type of cancer I have and that it was rare and didn’t respond well to chemotherapy or radiotherapy and that my best option was bladder removal using robotic surgery. The PET scan result showed no spread and the grading was T2N0M0 which was good news.
