Dr Sachin Gupta is professional and clear when interacting with patients. He makes patients feel at ease and provides reassurance for various procedures, including colonoscopies and gastroscopies, with thorough explanations. Dr Gupta demonstrates expert knowledge and is attentive, listening well while offering comprehensive guidance for ongoing care. His service is highly valued for investigations concerning bowel and stomach health.
Very happy with the procedure as a day patient. Would have liked to have been advised about how the gut would return to normal and when to continue drinking further liquid if the plenvu failed to cause a response after so many hours or you were suffering discomfort waiting for bowel movements
I am incredibly happy with Dr Gupta service. Despite some fairly invasive procedures, some incredibly concerning symptoms and some possible outcomes that could be life changing I found his approach friendly, supportive and reassuring from start to finish. I have worked with many consultants in my professional career and have seen a few privately for my own medical needs, and Dr Gupta straddles the very difficult line between reassurance, approach-fulness and professionalism perfectly. I would choose him personally as my consultant for any future needs within his remit.
I have known Sachin (Dr.Gupta) for many years in connection with my Crohn’s disease, and always receive an excellent, first class service. He is very personable and professional, and it’s always a pleasure to engage with him. I couldn’t recommend him more highly, thank you. My recent contact was a routine telephone appointment with no further action needed.
I came to Rivers Hospital for a colonoscopy and didn't sleep well the night before because I was very anxious and scared. I had never had the procedure before and I had so many thoughts going through my head. After the nurse had taken my blood pressure and asked about my general health, Dr Sachin Gupta came to see me just before the procedure. This was exactly what I needed. He completely put my mind at ease and allayed my fears and concerns. He was so empathetic and understanding and reassured me that the procedure would be quick. During the colonoscopy, he was absolutely amazing. He was completely professional and focused on my care, while also making sure the other healthcare professionals in the room were doing everything they needed to. He was looking at the screen, talking to me, checking that I was comfortable and making sure everything was going smoothly. This made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. I chose the gas and air option, which was definitely the right choice for me as I don't like needles. It helped me relax and I didn't feel any pain at all. My anxiety completely disappeared and what was amazing was that I could actually see the inside of my colon on the screen. Honestly, the actual colonoscopy was the easy part. I genuinely believe that is because Dr Sachin Gupta really cares about his patients and is excellent at what he does. If you're like me, don't particularly like hospitals and feel nervous or anxious about having a colonoscopy, I would 100% recommend Dr Sachin Gupta without hesitation.
I found Dr Sachin Gupta to be very professional, friendly and very clear in explaining details relating to my procedure and the outcome. Thank you.
Not a bad word to say. Not only Dr Gupta but all the staff are friendly and very accommodating.
I was very nervous about the procedure but everything went so well and everyone was so pleasant Iwas very impressed
Despite a mix up at the reception, which meant that i was seen late, Dr Gupta was apologetic and lived up to my expectations. He thoroughly listened to my concerns and referred me to appropriate further tests. I am happy to be under his care
