Mr Geraint Lloyd

Mr Geraint Lloyd is a Consultant specialising in General, Colorectal and Laparoscopic Surgery at Lister Hospital. He has an interest in colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease and further interests in gallstones, hernia, colonoscopy, and treatment of haemorrhoids, fistula and fissures.

Mr Lloyd qualified in Medicine in 1998 from the University of Leicester, which is where he also undertook his higher surgical training. Following this, he was awarded a Laparoscopic Colorectal Fellowship which took place at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.

He has been a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at Lister Hospital since 2011 and has previously held the positions of Clinical Director for General Surgery and Colorectal Cancer MDT lead.

He is an accredited Bowel Cancer Screening colonoscopist.
