Mr Bell has extensive experience in both degenerative and sports-related knee conditions. Mr Bell took the time to understand my situation and explain clearly what my options would be and helped me land on the best option for me relatively quickly in our discussion. Given my experience previously where I was left confused and anxious about my situation then Mr Bell's approach was greatly appreciated.
I had an excellent experience from initial consultation through to surgery at Glasgow Nuffield Hospital. Stuart Bell was professional, easy to discuss the problem with and thorough in his examination and explanation both pre and post surgery. I found the nursing staff very attentive and the physiotherapy service was excellent. The knee surgery provided me with a resolution to the problem and therefore was a great choice for me. I would not hesitate to recommend Stuart Bell and Glasgow Nuffield Hospital.
I was very happy with my experience whilst in hospital, but feel the aftercare could be improved.
Procedure fully explained in advance and at follow up.
I had a menisectomy in September 2024 for damage to the meniscus in my left knee.
my recent experience with mr bell was very informative about my injury and operation overall very helpful
Mr Bell offered a friendly and professional service. Kept my expectations realistic and surgery went smoothly. Before and after care was great.
Dr Bell oversaw my recovery following a serious knee injury with his care extending over approximately 18 months. From the pre-operative stage through to post-operative rehabilitation, he was consistently clear, thorough, and supportive in both his assessments and guidance. I felt very well informed and reassured throughout my treatment and I am extremely grateful to have been under his care.
We agreed a plan that took my clinical and work situation into account and my knee is doing great since my surgery.
I felt as if I was in good hands from the first consultation to the last. Both my recent surgeries were very successful and I now have a new lease of life.
Mr Bell is an excellent colleague. He is always keen to help, and support. He is an excellent surgeon with great surgical skills and a friendly bedside manner, achieving the best results for his patients.
