About Dr. Emma Lynch
I am an experienced General Practitioner with more than five years of clinical practice, committed to providing compassionate, patient focused healthcare in a supportive and approachable environment. I am particularly passionate about women’s health, menopause care, and preventative medicine, helping patients make informed decisions with clear, evidence based advice tailored to their individual needs. My approach is warm, attentive and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on continuity of care and building trusted long term relationships.
Alongside comprehensive general practice, I have developed additional expertise in menopause management, contraception and cardiovascular risk reduction. I have completed further training with the British Menopause Society and am currently undertaking the BMS Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care. I am also trained through the FSRH/CoSRH to provide intrauterine device fittings and specialist contraceptive counselling. I work closely with patients to support hormonal health, improve long term wellbeing and reduce future health risks through proactive, preventative care.
In addition to my private practice, I work as a GP Partner in Lymm, where I have extensive experience guiding patients through both NHS and private healthcare pathways. Within my NHS role, I lead on Menopause and Medicines Management and have completed an NHS England Fellowship in Clinical Leadership. I am also actively involved in medical education and workforce development, supervising GP trainees, pharmacists, medical students and Physician Associate students.

Dr Lynch is the best Gp I have seen. She listens so carefully, makes sure you feel heard, and she is really thorough with her investigations and explanations. She provides reassurance when necessary and is so kind and empathetic in her nature.
Dr Lynch put me at ease the moment I walked in. She was kind, caring and thoughtful. Gave me a clear explanation regarding my situation and helpful recommendations moving forward. I left feeling much lighter than when I arrived!
My appointment with Dr Lynch was to discuss HRT options. Her knowledge of the subject was excellent and she was able to suggest several different alternatives to my current plan
