I cannot recommend Mr Khan highly enough. He really listens and his main concern is the best outcome for the patient.

I am so very grateful to SK's for his expertise and professional friendly approach. I just wished I had accessed an assessment earlier as I now on the road to recovery after a very difficult time. He is a shining star in the dismissive world of endocrinology.

My experience with Mr Khan was positive from start to finish. I had already had a consultation with a surgeon who's plan for my treatment was frightening. Mr Khan was able to offer a more suitable procedure with a safer outcome. He was reassuring from the very start, able to use the scans that others had dismissed and operate successfully. He has assembled an impressive team who looked after me very well, but he personally made follow-up calls and took the consultation appointments that were scheduled for his registrar. He is highly skilled, a leader in his field, in great demand but manages to make his patients feel like significant individuals. He operated on me with skill and precision - my scar is negligible - and took the time to make me feel cared for.

I would unreservedly recommend Mr Khan. I felt in safe hands from the first conversation. He is extremely knowledgable and very reassuring. My surgery (parathyroidectomy) and recovery were straightforward; my scar is barely noticeable 2 months post op.

It is difficult to put into words just how grateful we are to Mr Shad Khan for the care he has given us. We first contacted Mr Khan only seven days ago, following a diagnosis of thyroid cancer, from the NHS Northampton & From that very first contact, he was exceptional. He responded to us the same day, arranged to see us incredibly quickly and immediately put everything in motion. He organised the additional CT scans and investigations needed to reconfirm and fully assess what had already been identified through the biopsy, talked us through everything in great detail and, remarkably, arranged the operation to remove half of the thyroid for the following Thursday — just one week after we first contacted him. Throughout what has been an incredibly frightening and emotional week, Mr Khan has been calm, kind, compassionate and reassuring. His knowledge and experience are immediately apparent, but what has meant just as much to us is the way he communicates.
