I felt Professor Winter gave me his full attention during our appointments. He listened, was understanding and gave me the benefit of his expertise exploring fully my symptoms. The tests he initiated were comprehensive and I was completely happy with the outcome. I had a number of time constraints that he was happy to work with making my life a lot easier. I would recommend him without hesitation.

A first rate experience. The procedure went like clockwork. I received high quality care from the entire ENT team. It was clear that everyone was doing their best for me. The process was clearly explained beforehand, as were the risks. I was included in each aspect of the decision-making. Every member of the team introduced themselves to me prior to surgery to outline their role, take questions and offer reassurance. The repair intervention was complicated, potentially involving two stages. Stage two being a far more invasive procedure involving cutting, possible blood loss issues, stitching and inpatient admission. Stage one, a more mechanical intervention, had previously been attempted but had failed because of access issues. Due to Professor Winter’s expertise he was able to repair the pharynx without proceeding to stage two. and I was discharged the same day. Recovery was uneventful; I was soon able to eat and drink normally and start to regain the weight I had lost. The quality of my life has improved significantly since the operation. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Professor Winter and his kind and caring team. I could not have wished for better
