Thank you for choosing The Manor Hospital and for your positive feedback
The anaesthesiologist assigned to my case seemed unaware of why I was at the Hospital, when we first met, and seemed generally confused. I had agreed with my consultant that I would not have full anaesthesia but this seemed unclear to him. The theatre staff were very friendly and accommodating but the anaesthesiologist struggled to administer the epidural and after 1 hour of poking me with varying sized needles, he said that a full anaesthetic might be necessary, despite me clearly saying that I would not be happy to have one - eventually, another doctor was called and the epidural was carried out in couple of minutes by him. This delay may have resulted in me having to stay overnight as the epidural did not wear off until the day shift had left the hospital. Food was very poor.
Very nice hospital, light, clean and very helpful staff, you have to put your car registration into a screen in reception after parking even if, like me, you just drive in and out, I could not park as it was full so had to go into town and walk. Leave plenty of time for this.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear the car park was full at the time of your visit and apologies for any inconvenience caused.
everything went according to plan.
Thank you for choosing the Manor Hospital and for your positive feedback
Nothing to change. Parking required two trips round the carpark but no issues other than this.
Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry to hear the car park was so busy at the time of your visit.
