About Dr Nikant Sabharwal
Dr Nikant Sabharwal is a Consultant Cardiologist with a specialist interest in cardiovascular imaging. He currently practises at Nuffield Health Oxford and holds NHS posts at the John Radcliffe Hospital and the Horton General Hospital, both part of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. With over two decades of experience in cardiology, Dr Sabharwal is known for his expertise in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of cardiac conditions using advanced imaging techniques.
He serves as Head of the Nuclear Cardiology Department at the John Radcliffe Hospital, where he and his team perform more than 2,000 nuclear cardiology tests annually. His clinical focus includes nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac CT, stress echocardiography (DSE), and transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE), offering highly accurate diagnostic insights to support the treatment of coronary artery disease, valvular disorders, and heart failure.
