Dr Salam Salloum

Dr Salam Salloum is a Consultant Cardiologist providing expert assessment and treatment for adults with chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, dizziness, high blood pressure, heart murmurs, atrial fibrillation, heart failure and heart valve disease.

He offers face-to-face cardiology consultations in Peterborough and Corby, together with telephone and video consultations for patients across the UK. Rapid appointments may be available, including same-day and next-day consultations, subject to availability.

Dr Salloum has particular expertise in advanced cardiac imaging, heart failure and valvular heart disease. His imaging experience includes echocardiography, stress echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. He also arranges and interprets investigations such as ECGs, ambulatory heart monitoring and 24-hour blood-pressure monitoring when clinically appropriate.

His approach is calm, thorough and patient-centred. He takes time to listen, explain findings in clear language and provide each patient with a practical investigation or treatment plan. This approach is consistently reflected in his verified patient reviews.

Dr Salloum has more than 22 years of UK clinical experience and was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist in 2016. His specialist training included University Hospital Southampton, Royal Papworth Hospital and Oxford University Hospitals. He subsequently completed a cardiac MRI fellowship at Royal Brompton Hospital and achieved Level 3 European accreditation in cardiovascular magnetic resonance.

He holds advanced UK, European and American qualifications in cardiac imaging and provides care for both self-paying and insured patients. Consultations are available in English and Arabic.
