Dr Mohamed Alama

Dr Mohamed Alama is a Consultant Cardiologist with over 19 years of experience in the diagnosis, management, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. He combines advanced clinical expertise with a patient-centred approach, offering comprehensive cardiac care using the latest diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.

Dr Alama completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Master’s Degree in Cardiology at Ain Shams University, Egypt, followed by advanced fellowships in Canada across several subspecialties of cardiology. His training at the University of Toronto encompassed cardiac MRI, echocardiography, cardiac CT, nuclear cardiology, and heart failure management.

Throughout his career, Dr Alama has been recognised for his contributions to cardiology research and innovation, earning the Young Investigator Award for his work in advancing cardiovascular care. In addition, he holds a Master’s in Business Administration.

His clinical expertise covers hypertension, arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation, heart failure, ischemic and valvular heart disease, myocardial infarction, and non-invasive cardiac imaging including CT, MRI, and stress testing.

Dr Alama is also dedicated to medical education and mentorship, actively training junior cardiologists and healthcare professionals. His practice is defined by precision, compassion, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based cardiovascular care.
