His training at the University of Toronto encompassed cardiac MRI, echocardiography, cardiac CT, nuclear cardiology, and heart failure management.

Throughout his career, Dr Alama has been recognised for his contributions to cardiology research and innovation, earning the Young Investigator Award for his work in advancing cardiovascular care. In addition, he holds a Master’s in Business Administration.
