Dr Kai Hogrefe

Dr Hogrefe is a Consultant Cardiologist at Kettering General Hospital NHS Trust and the Woodland Hospital helping patients suffering from general cardiology complaints or conducting cardiovascular risk assessment and guiding towards optimising preventional health strategy.

He also specialised as an intervention cardiologist offering invasive coronary artery assessment and treatment (e.g. coronary stenting), ECG loop recorder insertion and permanent pacemaker implantation.

He completed his training and accreditation in Cardiology and General Medicine in 2006 and was awarded the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Leicester. He is a dedicated researcher and medical educator who is actively involved in clinical trials as principle investigator or sub-investigator, contributing to the expansion of medical knowledge and enhancing future cardiac care.

Dr. Hogrefe is enjoys his teaching posts and is currently looking after foundation doctors as the Training Programme Director and supervises trainees of all stages of their career.
