About Mr Robert Marshall
Mr Bob Marshall qualified from St Thomas Hospital Medical School in 1988 and trained in general surgery in London. His higher upper gastrointestinal training was at Guy's Hospital. Bob Marshall has been a Consultant in Oxford for 20 years and is currently one of four surgeons providing regional service for the management of gastric and oesophageal cancer.
Bob Marshall's interests also include upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (gastroscopy, both diagnostic and therapeutic), groin hernia repair (open or keyhole), laparoscopic cholecystectomy for gallstones, anti-reflux surgery, incisional hernia repair (open or keyhole), complex abdominal wall hernias, and management of swallowing difficulties such as achalasia.

All seems fine. I followed the instructions before and after surgery and hernia is gone now.
Bob was absolutely outstanding. He explained everything in detail, answered questions well, and made the experience of surgery as relaxed as it could be.
My operation went according to plan and the healing process after six weeks is going well.
I would recommend Mr Marshall as a very professional and capable administrator of his craft. No surgery is pleasant but he explained the procedure and I was fully confident of his ability.
Mr Marshall is warm, caring and compassionate. He has a wonderful bedside manner and explains everything in a way which is easy to understand. I felt I was in a very safe pair of hands.

I had an umbilical hernia which was giving me some discomfort. The op was relatively minor but all went well and it has left me symptom free which is perfect.
This was my 1st experience of using Private health Care, and overall I was very impressed with all those involved. Mr Marshall was clear on the procedure, and kept me informed every step throughout the day. The Aftercare was also excellent, My incisions have healed well & No further treatment is required. Overall very happy with the service received
