I’ve had a number of appointments with Charlie over recent months dealing with a number of issues as I was training for my first marathon in London this April. My first problem was a knee issue which I’d been experiencing for over 6 months when I first went to see Charlie. He resolved it reasonably quickly by focussing on the muscles around the knee and giving me exercises and advice on how I can strengthen and look after my knees. As marathon training ramped up I developed a tight left hip and quad issue which through specific exercises, acupuncture soon eased. Charlie also helped me to improve my running cadence which really helped. My final problem came recently and close to the marathon with a left hamstring strain. Again Charlie treated and gave advice on exercises to strengthen it and a strategy to help me complete the marathon. It wouldn’t be at the pace I’d been training for but it would mean I could still take part and enjoy the day. The strategy worked. I ran the marathon last week. It was honestly one of the best experiences of my life, despite how tough I found it not being fully fit. Through out my treatment Charlie has been incredibly patient with me and given me great advice and without him I would not have completed the London Marathon last Sunday. Thank you.
Super helpful and efficient clinic. Would recommend.
I’ve been treated by Naomi for persistent knee issues, including ACL injury and surgery, as well as meniscus repair/removal surgery. I’m very happy with the care and treatment I received, and I’d highly recommend Naomi to anyone looking for expert support with knee rehabilitation.
I ruptured my Achilles tendon playing squash last September. My consultant surgeon strongly recommended Physio Remedies, who have an excellent reputation for helping athletes recover and return to sport in the best possible condition. I’m being treated by Naomi Murray, who closely follows the latest international research on Achilles injuries, which is very reassuring. The rehab plan has always been clear, progress has been excellent, and follow-up is very responsive whenever I have questions. Her patients’ recovery and long-term outcomes are clearly a genuine priority for her. The facilities at the Lansdowne Club are also outstanding and make a real difference to the quality of the rehabilitation. I would definitely recommend Physio Remedies.
Shoulder injury that has persisted for months. Very good practice.
Came in with sore left glute and pain in knees making lunges painful. Diagnosed with imbalance left side v right upper and lower. Adhered to a programme to address and although no quick fix I got there and am now free from pain and have finished 3 individual Hyrox events. Many Thks.
So pleased to hear you are back competing again. Keep with the strength program. Sarah
I can’t recommend Sarah enough! I came to her after a lateral hip tear, and she was incredibly thorough from day one. She didn’t just focus on the injury itself but also identified underlying weaknesses that might have been contributing to my pain. Sarah always explained what she was testing and why, which really helped me understand my recovery. The rehab plan she set up through the app was super clear and easy to follow, and she regularly checked in by email to make sure I was progressing well. As a World Champ Age Group triathlete for 5+ years, I’ve seen a lot of physios across London — and Sarah is honestly one of the best I’ve come across. She’s not only knowledgeable and professional but also genuinely warm and caring. This helps me trust the process and believe in the recommendations she provides. Thanks to her, I’ve built my strength back and am back running completely pain free! And I am also aware of weaknesses that could contribute to future injuries.
Thank you for your review. It was pleasure working with you and I am so glad you are now back running pain free, keep up the strength work. Sarah
