About Mr Fady Sedra
Mr Fady Sedra is a Royal College of Surgeons-Certified Consultant Spinal Surgeon based in London at the Barts Health NHS Trust. He also sees private patients at the following locations:

He completed his primary medical degree at Cairo University, Egypt in 2003, subsequently completing his basic orthopaedic training at the same university. He later moved to the UK and completed further training in Orthopaedics at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. Mr Sedra also holds a Master's degree in Orthopaedics and was awarded a MD for his research work surrounding scoliosis surgery. He later completed two fellowships at the Royal London Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Mr Sedra is also a Trauma & Orthopaedic Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
His current clinical practice focuses on spinal surgery. He regularly manages both general spinal cases and complex spine trauma cases including lumbar, thoracic, cervical and craniocervical spine cases. Mr Sedra has special interests in the surgical treatment and management of spinal deformities in both adults and children. He also treats lumbar and cervical disc disease in the adult patients.
Mr Sedra is well skilled in several surgical techniques, including conservative techniques such as minimally invasive spinal surgery and robotic-assisted surgery. He is passionate about securing the best clinical outcomes for his patients and is known for listening to his patients and including them in the decision making of their treatment. He works closely with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide his patients with a fully comprehensive healthcare service.

It was a pleasure to have Fady Sedra as my spinal consultant. Treatment options were clearly communicated and the Posterior Lumbar Decompression operation was a success.

The X-Ray of my neck should be in an art gallery as it is truly a work of art by Mr Fady Sedra. I highly recommend for any complex spinal work.

Mr Sedra is an amazing surgeon. He looked after my father very well. He is a surgeon with Ethics and he has excellent bedside manners and very empathic. From day 1 until my father was discharged he was updating us regularly about his progress and his recovery. He didn’t even charge us and waived his fees because I am a doctor and this is very rare and not many people do that. I can’t thank him more than that and he is a real gentleman and a great surgeon.
