All the staff i have met have been lovely and made me comfortable to share my health issues. They've been really supportive and interactive in my treatment making sure it works with my life and isn't something I'm going to absolutely dread so i'm more likely to be able to fit my home work in around everything else I have going on. They are upfront about where they would spend their money first if they were me which has allowed me to prioritize certain testing to get the most out of my treatment. They are all very hot on consent, always checking in and informing me where they would need to touch me for certain tests or therapies or if they wish to seek a second opinion from a colleague on something making sure I am there and am happy for them to discuss my medical issues. They are also happy to support me going to my GP and providing letters to summarize their finding to other medical practitioners to assist in diagnosis or treatment of things that are out of their scope of practice. I would highly recommend this practice especially if you have been medically gaslit in the past, or have any trauma as whenever I have had to see a different practitioner for a different therapy or due to staff leave I have always been asked if I would prefer a male/female practitioner and told by name who I will be seeing and if that's ok.

My visit and treatments were successful. On arrival the receptionists gave me a warm welcome and were very attentive. The purpose of my first visit was a 60-minute consultation with Dr Photini. Dr Photini patiently listened to what I thought were the main issues. Then Dr Photini gave a simple and detailed introduction, purpose of the consultation, examination, imagery overview, and explained what next. The experience was exceptional. The next day I had a follow up appointment with Ms Michaela Zilinska, Dental Hygienist, and again another warm welcome at reception. Like Dr Photini, Ms Zilinska was exceptional. Clearly explained what was about to happen and why, before and after treatment was revealing, this was my first treatment by a Dental Hygienist and I was very impressed. I will repeat this experience and will be asking for Ms Zilinska. Also, Ms Zilinska's assistant was very professional. Regarding the facilities at Vermilion, perfect, exceptionally clean, modern, high tech. I would recommend Vermilion to family and friends. Five star.

After being referred due to poor sperm parameters and preparing to start IVF, we met Miss Sangster, who immediately identified the likely issue as a varicocele. She was incredibly knowledgeable, reassuring, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything to us, including all treatment options available. We then had a very thorough scan with Dr Walkden, who was absolutely fantastic. He was professional, kind, and incredibly skilled, and he later went on to perform the varicocele embolisation procedure. Just 4 months later, we conceived naturally, and we have now welcomed our beautiful baby boy into the world. We truly believe we would not be where we are today without the care, expertise, and support of this team. A special mention also to Cecil, the secretary, who was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process — always helpful, friendly, organised, and supportive. We will always be incredibly grateful to all of you for helping make our dream of becoming parents come true.

I can only thank Mr. Goriainov for his utter professionalism in helping me with an issue relating to detached muscle tendons. From the first time I met him, (about 3 years ago in his NHS capacity) I was impressed by his genuine concern and the attention paid to me as a patient. Possibly like many people I've had experience of medical professionals who are "distracted" by their phones, computer monitors or notes. Not so with Mr.Goriainov. At the time you're with him you are his sole concern. My procedure was carried out as a day patient and as seems the norm, I saw him before and after the operation and at a follow up about two weeks later. I also asked to see him again, following a physiotherapy session, as I was a little concerned with one aspect of my recovery but was re-assured at that requested appointment. I will be needing a knee replacement some time in the relatively near future and Mr. Goriainov will again be my requested surgeon.

The service is excellent. I did have to ring the nurses on 2 occasions as I was experiencing post operative symptoms that I didn’t know if were ‘normal’. I think Optegra need a post operative booklet detailing what you might experience after surgery such as eye twitching, light reflections, etc and how long to wear night eye shield etc. this would have saved me making 2 worried phone calls.

I have always been very impressed with the Spire Cheshire, very polite staff and a great facility. I met Dr Todd for consultations there but the procedures were carried out elsewhere - two cardoversions at the Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital and the PFA ablation at Spire Manchester. Both of these facilities are excellent and I was certainly well cared for there.
