I genuinely don't know where to begin in expressing my gratitude for Mr Holton. He is incredible - such a talented and amazing surgeon and I honestly feel so thankful I was lucky enough to have my hip replacement surgery with him. He is a genuinely wonderful and caring person and he has changed my life immeasurably. He ensured I was fully aware of what was possible in terms of outcomes, but the outcomes have indeed exceeded all expectations. I had regular touchpoints in the days following surgery, 6 weeks after and then 10 months after that. I am usually a bit of a worrier but I felt so informed throughout that I didn't have any worries. Not only do I have a brand new hip, Mr Holton was also able to lengthen my leg - which was a 3cm difference. I had lived my life in pain for so long as a result of my congenital hip and I'd developed arthritis in the hip joint. The difference in my leg brought many alignment issues, along with back and neck issues as a direct result. For the first time in my life I am living completely pain free, my pelvis is level and I now live such a full life. It has completely changed my quality of life and I cannot thank him enough. Genuinely from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much.

She has a wonderful way of engaging with babies, turning each session into something that feels more like play than therapy, while still being incredibly effective. She always takes the time to explain what she’s doing and how we can support our baby’s progress at home, which has been so reassuring as a parent. I had an excellent experience with Phillip. He was incredibly warm, kind and empathetic from the outset, and took the time to explain everything clearly in accessible, layman’s terms. I’m not an expert, but I never felt rushed or talked down to — he made a complex situation feel straightforward and manageable. Phillip was also impressively efficient. Within the space of around 30 minutes, he arranged the necessary test, discussed the results, and talked me through next steps. From the first consultation to the subsequent procedure and then follow ups he was reassuring, providing me with all the information I required, answering any queries I had in full. The procedure was pain free and information regarding after care clear and concise. The result is that I have virtually no mark/scar - he is so skilled and painstaking at the closure of the wound. Dr Shah has been charming and totally professional through the whole experience and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Positive perks - the waiting room had adjustable height chairs meaning I didn't have to struggle getting in and out of chairs! Dr Chinoy didn't judge me, or make me feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience (something I have grown accustomed to from the nhs). Despite my symptoms not fitting in with his specialities he recommended a colleague who he feels confident would be able to meet my needs. Although private care is hard on my wallet as a self funder, the advice, treatment and service I received overall made it more than worthwhile.

Mr Nita explained everything and options I had. I had tests and trials with walking aids to determine best option for me explaining both pros and cons I opted for long leg osteotomy which gave me option to have knee replacement later in life. I am 12 weeks post operation and i’m walking unaided and I am using no pain killers. I do realise I do have lot of recovery to get 100%. I cannot thank Mr Nita enough, his professional and skills have changed my mobility, without the pain that I used to endure

From arrival to leaving, staff were very friendly and helpful. I was treated respectfully and with care. I visited the facility twice this week and on the first occasion - late afternoon, there was no option for purchasing refreshments. On my second visit, which was earlier in the day, the facility to purchase drinks and snacks was open, and was very good.

Prompt,efficient service to book appointment. Short waiting time as offered cancellation appointment. Slight wait for clinic review, but informed of 10 minute delay when we arrived. Only issue I would have is lack of patient parking at Mount Alvernia, and this is a particular issue when struggling with mobility!

The staff are empathetic and very helpful and you definitely don't feel as if you are wasting their time and need to get off the phone because you are holding up a queue.
