Dear Team, I would like to provide feedback, as my experience at Harley Street Specialist Hospital has genuinely changed my life. I want to say how incredibly grateful and eternally indebted I am to my surgeon, Mr Luke Cascarini. He has given me a completely new lease of life. He is not only an outstanding surgeon but an exceptional human being, and I cannot thank him enough for the care, precision, and compassion he showed throughout my entire journey. I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to Janet, Dr Bosh, and all the nursing staff, as well as every member of the team right down to the wonderful ladies on reception, including Marianne. There are too many to name individually, but every single person played a role in making this experience extraordinary. The hospital itself does not feel like a hospital at all — it feels more like a health retreat where you leave as a better version of yourself. The environment, the warmth, and the standard of care are truly exceptional. For anyone suffering from sleep apnea, as I was, or dealing with any of the conditions treated by your specialists, I could not recommend HSSH and Mr Luke Cascarini more highly. Receptionist was absolutely lovely and really friendly and helpful. The building and facilities were all excellent and kept clean and tidy. The consultant I saw was extremely rude, arrogant and judgemental. There were several comments he made that shocked me and that made me feel very uncomfortable to the point I almost walked out mid appointment. There was very little sympathy or mindfulness of my injury and he came across extremely judgemental in the assumptions he made about the level of sport I played, what I could afford, and several other things. I actually play semi-professionally and have represented our country in World Championships in the sport I play, and I also have a law degree and accountancy qualification which I did not mention as quite frankly it is irrelevant. It was apparent he took a dislike to me for whatever reason from the start and the whole experience was very uncomfortable. His behaviour aside, he is clearly very knowledgeable and good at what he does. Reading between the lines I got the answer I needed. This hospital was recommended to me by one of your previous patients and I was lucky to get booked in through an NHS referral but after my experience I would never return for any issue and am relieved I didn't pay to go private.

Dr Paul Farrant

My visit to Dr Paul Farrant was just as I'd hoped. I'd selected him to carry out a skin check, based on his high rating in the Brighton area from reviews I'd checked, as well as his qualifications. This was my first skin assessment ever and, at 74, was really later than it might have been! Happily nothing serious was found, but I was advised on a skin maintenance programme which i will adopt going forward. I want to age healthily, and this approach will help me do so. I will return every 2 years from now on for a regular check with Dr Farrant. Highly recommended. (He has very nice skin, by the way, which is encouraging :) :) )

Miss Lobo has been nothing short of exceptional with me, every step of the way, during the most challenging time in my life. She made sure I got the full diagnosis incredibly quickly, referred me to the best oncologist immediately so I could get my treatment plan, reassuring me I was in the best hands. Post chemotherapy she then operated on me, and the result - aesthetically as well - is simply outstanding. She is both a consummate professional and a very caring person - anyone under her care is lucky.

Sarah from my first visit made sure that any questions were answered and she put my mind at ease with any concerns I may of had, during my dental work when administering anaesthetic normally at other practices the pain was so bad but I didn’t feel a thing and the whole appointment was actually quite pleasant felt like I could openly talk she has such a warm and welcoming spirit to her which again before coming to this practice I’ve never really got so it really was amazing I could go on and on.

Prof Kocher was very helpful and professional when I was under his care, including post-care. He was prepared to operate immediately but explained the risks clearly, allowing me to make the right decision to wait 6 weeks so that it was possible to have surgery when infection was less severe allowing me to recover quickly. The information he provided in his fact sheets was extremely helpful post-recovery.

Everyone was so lovely and helpful. I was very anxious but was put at ease and felt safe and well looked after. Premises were clean and comfortable. I was warm and as relaxed as I could be thanks to staff.
