My whole experience from start to finish has been absolutely amazing! All staff have been 100% in their delivery of care and support. I felt safe and looked after. The anaesthetist and theatre staff before both operations were totally dedicated in ensuring I felt at ease at a time when I felt most anxious. All ward nurses and assistants were focussed on delivering the highest standard of care with their patience and nothing being too much trouble. Pantry team kept me well fed with delicious drinks and food and always with a smile. Imaging team were so caring, cheerful and again reassuring and professional. The physio team are incredible, they have encouraged and lead me to where I am now - so very nearly there. I cannot fault my experience at Gatwick Spire. A massive thank you to Mr Panose and all teams involved in my operations and recovery.

Mr Saheel Mukhtar

My last visit with Mr Muktar was to discuss the outcome on the HoLEP operation he performed on me at the end of July 2025. The procedure was very successful and I am now able to wee freely and am extremely happy to no longer have to use a catheter. My prostate was very enlarged and Mr Mukhtar removed 130g of prostate during the procedure. He was also able to advise me that no cancer was present in the removed prostate. I have been monitored for several years for prostate cancer and my PSA before the operation was 15. Mr Mukhtar advised me that my PSA should go down to about 7. I had a six month review today with my Urologist and was advised my PSA is now 4.5. I am delighted with the outcome of this procedure and am very happy to recommend Mr Mukhtar to anyone who is considering having this operation.

RTN Mental Health - Right To Choose

I was referred by my GP to RTN via Right To Choose and I have been diagnosed with combined type ADHD. I wanted an assessment which was thorough as I have other conditions such as anxiety, and it was very comprehensive. I felt like my full history was properly reviewed and explained to me. The assessment process was also vulnerable to go through, especially as an adult in my 40s, but all the staff I spoke to via email or face-to-face were very kind, supportive and validating. Thank you. My overall experience was excellent and I would highly recommend RTN to others. My one small piece of feedback is whether you can incorporate a save button in the online forms. I find form-filling quite overwhelming and I think it would have helped to be able to do it in stages.

Hamstring tendon rupture Having suffered a sports-injury complete tendon rupture/avulsion of the L-hamstring and had AXA-PPP refer me serially to three previous, different orthopaedic consultants who - as it turned out - lacked corresponding specialism, I was very glad to finally be put in touch with Mr. Culpan. Paul's first-hand experience with hamstring repair surgery facilitated knowledgeable discussion and a balanced assessment of available options. I found him to be both approachable and professional, and appreciated his team's co-ordination of a related MRI scan and follow-up appointment for imaging review. I would recommend consulting with Mr. Culpan for hamstring trauma & repair.

I had to swallow a small capsule with a camera, along with a blood test and an MRI scan, and everything was explained clearly so I knew exactly what to expect. Dr Campbell made me feel completely comfortable, and the procedures were done quickly and with great care. From the first visit for my initial consultation back in July to my EUA a few weeks ago I found Ian to be nothing but professional, calming and reassuring. Although the staff were amazing I found the actual cataract operation deeply unpleasant. I could see everything that was being done whilst being unable to move - the real stuff of nightmares, though the actual operation was a complete success. If I may suggest a way to make this experience a little more bearable would be to enable patients to choose their own music to listen to? As a professional singing practitioner, I'm aware how effective music can be in distraction? (I personally found the choice of radio station and programme increased the unpleasantness of the experience)

I could hardly walk with acute nerve entrapment when I entered my fist acupuncture appointment with Lisa. Within just a few hours the pain has reduced dramatically and mobility increased over the next week allowing me to come off the painkillers (which didn’t agree with me and messed up my sleep cycle.). After my second appointment 9 days later, I had a full 6 hours sleep, the most I’d had for weeks. I can’t recommend Lisa enough; she was extremely thorough in addressing the root cause of my issues as well as the symptoms. Thank you so much Lisa!
