Mr Asif Parkar

I tore my left knee ACL a few years back while playing badminton. 10 years before similar issue with the right knee ACL & had to undergo surgery to fix this. But this time, I'm a bit skeptical about doing surgery with a house move & other medical issues. But this delay resulted in cartilage damage and a further increase in pain, & finaly decided to go for surgery. A few of the doctors advised against ACL surgery due to the cartilage damage & even advised multiple surgeries in phases. But decided to go for 2nd opinion and met with Dr Parker. From the outset, he understood the matter in detail and explained the options available to me in a pretty clear manner. Finally decided with Auto-cart to repair the cartilage damage + ACL reconstruction in one go. Now it's almost 6 months after the surgery, and the recovery is even faster compared to the surgery 10 years earlier. Met Dr Parker recently for a final assessment, and he is happy to discharge me from active observations. I must say this time the recovery is much faster & was able to walk using crutches after a couple of weeks. I plan to go back to sports and similar activities in next 3-6 months. I would highly recommend Dr Parker and his team (Sarah), who assisted in all phases of the surgery, even answering queries from the insurance provider. Can't thank you enough, Dr Parker & his team for all the help and support.

I had left knee tuberosity transposition surgery. The doctor was extremely helpful and good elat explaining everything to me throughout the surgery. My knee has healed very well. I am now longer getting the pains in it that I had before the surgery. Prior to surgery I was regularly limping without even doing any exercise. I would just wake up and be in pain. Also I would have a throbbing sensation when sitting for a period with my knee bent. This is no longer occurring. It has been a long process of recovery but the surgery was definitely worth it

I was very satisfied with how Mr Asif Performed my knee replacement operation on 19th August . A very informative and very easy to talk to gentleman. Very helpful. Would be more than happy to have him perform another operation when the time comes . Would thoroughly recommend . Thank you very much for your time and performance.

Very good and informative

My appointment was very positive. Mr Parkar explained more about the operation and showed me the xrays. He took his time and didn't rush my appointment which was great.

The whole experience from start to finish was excellent, the bedside manner at all levels was brilliant, the aftercare was exceptional and I only have good things to say about mr Asif Parker and his team! Brilliant!
