About Mr Asif Parkar
Mr Asif Parkar is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in sports knee injuries, ligament reconstruction, and joint replacement surgery. His practice includes the management of complex knee conditions as well as partial and total knee and hip replacement procedures. He also provides specialist treatment for patella instability and performs joint preservation procedures such as osteotomy around the knee. Mr Parkar takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to patient care and consults privately at Harley Street Specialist Hospital, Spire Hartswood Hospital, Spire East London Hospital, and London Bridge Hospital.
Mr Parkar completed his specialist training through the Royal London Trauma and Orthopaedic Programme. He also completed a prestigious Level I Trauma Centre North American Fellowship in Calgary, where he gained further experience in advanced orthopaedic and sports injury management.

I Came In & See Dr Parkar Regarding My Hip. He Accessed Me & Sent Me For An X Ray & I Had Stage 4 Osteoarthritis In My Hip. I Came Back 2 Weeks Before My Surgery For A Pre-Assessment. Day Of Surgery I Had Great Care & Reassurance That Everything Was Going To Be Fine. Dr Parkar Then Came To See Me, To See If I Was Ok Before Surgery & Asked Me If There Was Anything I Wanted To Ask Him & Yet Again He Reassured Me That I Was In Safe Hands. The Surgery Was A Total Success & The Recovery Was Unbelievable. Dr Asif Parkar Was So Professional 10/10
Excellent . Great experience.Cannot praise Mr Parkar enough for fantastic outcome on both knee replacements.
I cannot recommend Mr Asif Parkar highly enough. Undergoing surgery can be quite an anxious experience, but he made the whole process a lot more comfortable. The results of my hip replacement have exceeded my expectations. Despite only being 10 weeks post surgery, my quality of life has significantly changed for the better thanks to him. I was very lucky that he was the one to operate on me.
I found Mr Parkar very courteous considerate and explained everything in full from the start. Including downsides and complications. His manner was always friendly and very professional. A pleasure to deal with and made you feel at ease and listened to. A wonderful consultant. I could not have wished for better.
