Mr Tony Corner

I've now had surgery on both shoulders over a period of a little over a year. Whilst still recovering from the most recent, happy to report that I feel both are a complete success. Mr Corner advised very clearly the issues each time, and set out the options I had, and the intended benefits. Very clear, and very professional. On both procedures, recovery has been quicker than perhaps expected, which I am sure must point towards the standard to which the surgery was completed. Mr Corner has shown me before and after images of the work that has been completed in each shoulder. Extremely happy with the results, and absolutely recommend Mr Corner without question.

It was a pleasure to meet Tony who had been recommended by medical colleagues. Tony is clearly very experienced and was extremely decisive in what management would be appropriate for the presenting problem. Following my assessment and diagnosis I will be getting a guided steroid injection which I very much hope provides some resolution to my shoulder problem. Thanks again Tony.

Tony operated on my left shoulder in 2022 so, when I broke the same shoulder in May 2026, I went to see him after having many different opinions and views from NHS doctors over the course of the initial few days. It was so reassuring to be in Tony’s capable hands. He looked at the x-rays and CT scan and was absolutely confident of how to treat the injury. I had regular check ups to monitor the healing process and Tony’s confident assertion that an operation was not in my best interests and that natural healing would be far more beneficial was vindicated by a thorough healing process through careful management. What was worrying to me was clear as day to him and the fact that he was confident, untroubled and absolutely sure of what he was advising throughout was extremely reassuring after a nasty accidental injury. I would not hesitate to recommend him. I should add that his secretary, Amanda, was extremely helpful at the outset in fitting me in for a quick appointment, and helpful too in emailing letters so that my osteopath had quick sight of Tony’s recommendations for exercise treatment.

I went to see Tony Corner as I was suffering for a long period with frozen shoulder symptoms , Tony wasted no time in setting me up with another Doctor for a hydrdilation steroid injection by ultrasound . I had immediate relief no pain . Tony Corner is very friendly warm and approachable . Not wanting to rush into the patient needing surgery looking for alternative’s . So pleased I was given his details from the gym owner I attend . Thank you .
