It was my pleasure to meet with him again to discuss my new hip problems having met him in May 2024 and had my first hip replacement surgery in September 2024. Which incidentally was a first class experience despite the discomfort following the surgery. He reassured me and discussed the recent x ray Of my other hip and agreed that currently I do not require surgery but I would be able to contact his department within the next year if needed. I saw 3 different consultants two through local hospitals and paid privately for a third opinion over 3 years previously to referral to Practice plus at Barlborough. None were willing to free me from pain give and me a hip replacement. Mr Abdulsattar saw my x ray and straight away asked me “would you like a new hip” Having discussed my pain and suffering for 3 years he was and is an angel in my eyes. Thank you Suzanne S.

I have recently had cosmetic surgery at Sancta Maria and i genuinely would not want to go anywhere else…. I may be biased as I work at the hospital but for me regardless of who I was the staff were very professional and gave outstanding care. I always watch how every staff members provide this incredible service to other members of the public but honestly they showed me so much care and compassion throughout my surgery. The staff in all departments - especially recovery and ward as that’s where I spent my time mostly. Also Ashley in outpatients for providing me with an appointment for dressing clinic to put my mind at ease when I accidentally got my dressings wet. Honestly I would not want to have had my surgery anywhere else. Thank you all so much. I am very proud to work within such an incredible team.

The staff at the hospital were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. They understood the importance of admission for surgery to the patient and were very supportive. All of the clinical and medical staff were first class, but the support staff were also excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and I was well looked after. The menu options were very good and the food was delicious. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this excellent hospital.

I would recommend Mr Malek to anyone considering hip replacement surgery. He is very friendly, approachable and reassuring. I have a small scar ( about 6”) which is very neat and a lot less than other people I know who have had the same operation. I was advised to prepare (exercise) and follow up well (exercises) which I did and I think this helped my recovery. I hope I don’t need surgery again but if I did I would go back to Mr Malek.

The admin side of things was a bit bad. Had the wrong shoulder down for surgery and even though said it would be changed still had the wrong shoulder listed on day of surgery. Unfortunately I am in the process of compiling an official complaint regarding the nurse I had on the day of my surgery, worst nurse I have ever had in my 52 years on Thai earth. Truly awful and needs to be removed from the ward.
