Skylight Psychiatry

Skylight Psychiatry is a remote CQC-regulated specialist multidisciplinary service for adults. Their mission is to provide support, understanding, and a pathway to a brighter future for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and Down Syndrome, as well as those seeking assessment and support without a formal diagnosis.

Founded by two passionate professionals who shared a common vision, Skylight Psychiatry emerged from their recognition of the pressing need for improved access to timely assessments and treatment for the neurodiverse population. Informed by their own professional and personal experiences, they identified the challenges faced by individuals awaiting support within the stretched NHS services, especially during the global pandemic.

In addition to their commitment to providing comprehensive care, the team at Skylight Psychiatry are dedicated to environmental responsibility. They are actively working to reduce their carbon footprint, with a goal of becoming entirely paperless and carbon-neutral in the near future.

Skylight Psychiatry also takes an active role in advocating for awareness of neurodevelopmental disorders. They offer training programs designed for employers, caregivers, family members, healthcare professionals, and the general public. By fostering understanding and breaking down stigmas, Skylight Psychiatry seeks to ensure that individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders are treated fairly and receive the reasonable adjustments they deserve, in accordance with the Equality Act of 2010.
