Dr. Maria Moura

Dr Maria Solange Moura is a highly accomplished Medical Doctor and Medical Director, dedicated to giving excellence in healthcare and professional development. She is based in London, where she is fully registered with the GMC and brings a diverse range of experiences to her practice. As the Medical Director of Medfellow, she has been key in creating opportunities for international medical professionals, supporting them in achieving their goals through residencies, fellowships, and clinical attachments.

Dr Moura’s career reflects a strong commitment to learning and innovation. She served as the Research Collaborative Officer for the Society of Cardiothoracic Surgery of Great Britain and Ireland (2021-2022) and was honoured with prestigious scholarships, including the Women in Cardiothoracic Surgery Mentorship Award and the International Collaborative Clinical Research Scholarship from Harvard University. Her training spans globally, with clinical attachments in Neuroradiology at University College London Hospitals and Cardiothoracic Surgery at St George’s University.

In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, she contributed to telehealth initiatives in Brazil, supporting vital patient care. She also actively organises medical courses and has volunteered for projects such as the Congenital Heart Disease Project.
