Booked private appointment with Beneden/BUPA insurance for my 10 year old son who's tics and twitches have exacerbated recently and our Optician & a Paediatric Nurse recommended he have further investigations. We wanted him to be checked out quickly as we were very worried with a couple of other health symptoms too. Quick claim process with Beneden Healthcare of whom Dr Mehta was listed as one of our closest Paediatric Nuerologist. Read up his bio on website and reviews of being an expert with tics and tourettes so booked an appointment directly with Spire bookings team. Dr Mehta was thorough and asked lots of questions and gave a thorough exam. He was very good with our 10 year old son who also has ADHD and struggles in unknown surroundings. The only part of the process that wasn't a good service was the call centre booking two initial appointments that were then changed. Once the Children's Services Manager took over the booking in-house at Hull Spire it was fine. From first point of contact 18.11.25 to first appointment on 02.12.25 was much quicker than waiting for NHS appointment as we were and school were very concerned by the very sudden change in his tics.

Excellent visit with Dr Wu, exceptional.. I hoped holistic consultant and she more than fulfilled my expectations of trying to find a Dr Wu over since September 2019! Reception warm & kind, helpful, professional by Luke & Amanda from arrival 1.50 pm to departure at 7 pm. Nurse Marieglo again put me at ease. & taking me to Dr Alexandra WU. Excellent also after re tests though the afternoon. Declan Xray amazingly professional & considerate, and colleague. Blood taken by Nurse Ilham - the first time in decades I have not had several attempts leading to bruising lasting 2 or 3 weeks, or indeed, attempts on both arms leaving painful bruising for weeks. With Ilham, one invisible prick, no bruising at all. Tiny round plaster - off in the shower this morning. No mark at all. Excellent. 5.50 pm Final tests ultra sound Hermin and Sciofra. At the end of the day 6 pm

Rebecca and Lisa both looked after me when I was in recently for a gender scan and genetic testing. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. After getting my bloods done I felt a little faint and the care I was given by both of them was outstanding. They also made finding out the gender of our first baby incredibly special & wholesome. Very clean and nice waiting area, the coffee & biscuits are much nicer than the Hampshire Clinic. Reception stall very helpful and efficient. The Polish lady who undertook the ECG was excellent, very helpful and explained what was to be done. With the excellent parking area, coffee & biscuits the whole experience was very pleasant. The whole experience of phoning first thing in the morning to make an appointment to have my earwax removel - through to later in morning when it was carried out felt like a “model” experience in care. My audiologist was patient, explained the process and worked efficiently to remove all the wax bringing much needed relief. She also gave me advice on oiling my ear to help the wax dispersal in future.

I got there at the appointment time I had been messaged and it was deemed too late as the clinic was not informed of my changed time from 09.40 to 11.45.. also the doctor I saw was not one that dealt with my condition although he did promise to refer me to another one who does deal with it.

The experience with Dr Chachan was excellent from start to finish. The only critique I have is of the waiting time/ delay. We were seen around 35 minutes late which had an impact on our afternoon work commitments. This could have been communicated by reception. But Dr Chachan is fantastic!

The doctor was professional and dealt competently with my problems. He listened patiently to my complaints and changed my medications to have better control of my BP. He was approachable, friendly and did not keep me waiting! The staff were good too and did what was necessary efficiently.
