During my recent experience at Cleveland Clinic London, I was under the care of Professor James Teo and Dr. Dipesh Patel for my diagnosis of myelitis. I’d like to share a review of the care, diagnosis, and treatment I received during my short inpatient stay and subsequent outpatient follow-up. Diagnosis: The professionalism and expertise of both Professor Teo and Dr. Patel were evident. They took the time to thoroughly review my medical history, listen attentively to my symptoms, and conduct a series of comprehensive tests. The diagnostic process was meticulous, involving advanced imaging and laboratory analyses, all explained clearly, which left me feeling confident about my care. I was admitted as an inpatient for a couple of days, and my stay was exceptionally comfortable and reassuring. The modern hospital environment and top-notch facilities contributed to a positive experience. The nursing staff was attentive and highly trained, providing outstanding care around the clock. I appreciated their responsiveness to my needs, ensuring I felt comfortable during my brief stay. Daily visits from Professor Teo and Dr. Patel allowed me to discuss my progress and any concerns I had, reinforcing my sense of being valued and cared for. Following my inpatient stay I transitioned smoothly into outpatient care. My follow-up appointments have been invaluable, with thorough evaluations of my ongoing recovery. The clinic’s proactive communication, including test results, appointment reminders and prompt responses to my queries, has greatly supported my journey. They also provided me with educational resources to help manage my condition effectively. In conclusion, my experience at Cleveland Clinic London, particularly under the care of Professor Teo and Dr. Patel, has been exemplary. Their dedication to providing personalized and compassionate care, paired with their expertise, has made a significant difference in my ongoing recovery journey. I normally don’t write reviews, I’m someone who feels that if you do your job well, there is no need. However I have just been been signed off for my second eye cataract surgery and would like to thank all those involved in bringing this about. It was a long haul as my second eye was so bad after an accident back in my teens that a lens had to be made specially to correct my vision. It took about six weeks to make, but I was kept informed of progress regularly. I have nothing but praise for the people who saw me throughout. From the security guys, reception and medical team, to the optometrists, the surgeon and of course Hannah. As my point of contact, Hannah was there to answer my questions and kept me up to date with progress. Once again thanks one and all. In the nicest possible way, I hope I don’t see you again for a long, long time.

This was a follow-up appointment. It should have been after 2 weeks but because the practitioner works very part-time this wasn’t possible. She then said I should have been in sooner! Treatment not as successful as with past practitioners before we moved to this area (I had brought records to first appointment but she had suggested a different approach). Further treatment offered on the day of the follow-up but I felt the practitioner was getting very defensive and I was losing confidence, so I declined. When I was waiting to go in someone else was trying to book a follow-up appointment. When she couldn’t get one desk staff said it probably didn’t matter as most people don’t need it! This clinic suits me location wise but unfortunately this wasn’t a great experience so I won’t go back.

I am incredibly happy and grateful for my surgeon’s reconstruction of my revision ACL and bone graft. From the first consultation to recovery, the care, precision, and confidence he showed made a huge difference in my healing and peace of mind. My knee feels stronger every day, my mobility is returning, and I trust the work that was done. It actually feels better than my first surgery I had 5 years ago with another surgeon. Less painful too. The results have exceeded my expectations, and I truly appreciate the skill and dedication that went into my surgery. My surgery took place there and had to stay overnight due to vertigo and dizziness. The hospital was friendly, new and pristine. The nursing staff outstanding as well as of course the medical team. I had dinner and breakfast and it was also healthy and delicious. Yesterday I returned to have the dressing removed and it was equally good. If any criticism would be to the pharmacy with a 30minute wait to get my prescription and also despite being a Bupa hospital not having the availity to charge Bupa for medication- I am under Bupa Global and in other Bupa hospitals this is the case.

I would highly recommend Mr Johns for anyone with breast concerns. He has a lovely manner and very clear communication, taking time to explain things to me and manage any questions and concerns that I had which gave me confidence that I was in good hands. I have had two operations conducted by him, both of which went well, and medical professionals who have subsequently examined me have proactively commented on how neat my scars are. I feel lucky that I was referred to his clinic and would highly recommend him to others.

The Doctors Lounge Chalfont

General Practice (GP)

I think the Doctors Lounge is such a great personal investment. You are able to see a doctor quickly, they have all your notes in front of them and have excellent referal doctors should you need further support. I cannot recomend Dr. Nik Chopra and his team more highly. It also means you take pressure off your local GP who can then spend their time with patients who need to use the NHS service. Think outstanding service and value for money.

All of the staff are so friendly, this whole experience has been made so much more positive because of them. The facilities are wonderful, it feels more like a hotel lounge than a waiting area. The refreshments and activities are thoughtful for not just the patients but also to those who may be attending with them. I feel incredibly supported by the whole team here, from a welcome every time at reception to treatment the experience is top.

I first met Gus in 2022 when he was at Six and we worked together on some shoulder rehabilitation. When I injured my shoulder again last year, I sought him out at Kaizen Physiotherapy. Gus is thorough and methodical and explains which specific muscle each exercise is targeting. He is also a thoroughly nice man. The pain and stiffness are gone but Gus has given me with an ongoing exercise programme to maintain my shoulder health.

Mr Sood communication style is clear, uncluttered and direct. Our consultation followed a similar pattern . He ensured I was comfortable with what he had done, understood the likely consequences going forward and in the unlikely event of a issue with the replacement support was available. I left my final consultation with Mr Sood in the knowledge I had been expertly looked after by one of the best in his field. . Class Act.

Reason for the low rating on wait time is that I reported for admission at 1300 as requested but didn’t end up going to theatre until 2030. This was in part due to earlier procedures taking longer than expected but it was a very long time to wait and a long time to not eat. Perhaps a 3rd admission slot later in the afternoon would be a good improvement on busy days. But other than that everything else was very good.

Mr Deepak Bhatura was very helpful regarding my situation and prescribed medication and recommended that I take probiotics. I have done what was recommended and after months of suffering and taking antibiotics which were not he!lping, my symptoms have been completely eradicated!! I would not hesitate to see Mr Bhatura if need be and I would definitely send anyone who needed a urologist to Mr Bhaktura.

Today’s visit was an aftercare appointment following my total knee replacement surgery. Reception staff were friendly, polite and informative. The waiting room was comfortable, clean and relaxed. When called for my appointment, I was shown into another room, ready for my consultation and that happened without any wait time. I feel the word that best meets my feelings, is exemplary.

I cannot speak too highly of Mr Marston. I have had elective surgery on three separate occasions , the first in 2009, which were very successful.
