I was seen by a young male dentist (apologies, he did tell me but I can't recall his name and it isn’t listed on the website – perhaps he is new). He was professional, informative, and efficient throughout my appointment. As I’m allergic to local anaesthetics, fillings can be particularly uncomfortable, but he was very reassuring and took great care, as did the dental nurse. By far, this has been the best service I’ve experienced at the practice to date. My only critique is not directed at the dentist himself, but rather the practice’s policy. Over the past couple of years, I’ve noticed that patients cannot book a filling replacement directly without first having a pre-booking consultation. This essentially doubles both the cost and the time needed off work. In my case, a chipped filling was causing pain due to decay, and it was obvious that a replacement filling was required. I had to insist several times when booking that I did not need a pre-assessment, only a filling appointment. Given that I am a private patient and a silver filling costs almost £200, being charged for an unnecessary pre-booking simply to confirm what is already evident feels unreasonable.

The staff at Princess Grace Hospital were outstanding from start to finish. From pre-op to the pre-surgery waiting area, everything was explained clearly, including how patients are triaged, which really put me at ease. The level of support was exceptional; physio, dietitian input, and timely pain management were all seamlessly provided. I was also impressed by the technology, such as the pump to prevent blood clots, which gave me extra reassurance since I have predisposition to Deep Vein thrombosis. I would like to give special thanks to my anesthesiologist, Dr. Chan, who was excellent, and to every single nurse who cared for me; there were too many to name, but they were all amazing, including the night assistant who was always available the moment you ranged. Even the food exceeded expectations. It felt like 5-star dining, with healthy, abundant options that made recovery more comfortable. After many surgeries elsewhere, I can honestly say I’ve never had such a positive hospital experience. Princess Grace sets a remarkable standard of care.

While I was in the bathroom, my husband—who was waiting in my hospital room—asked her two questions regarding my discharge. On both occasions, she ignored him. Instead, she sighed loudly and then entered the bathroom without knocking, despite my husband explaining that I was inside. At that moment, I was in the process of dressing and felt very uncomfortable. When I told her I was using the toilet, she simply replied, “that’s fine,” and proceeded to discuss my hospital discharge from the bathroom doorway while I was trying to get pull my underwear up with one functioning arm!. This behavior was unprofessional and highly inappropriate, particularly in a private care setting. That being said, I cannot praise Mr. Ray and the rest of the team highly enough. It is simply unfortunate that this one individual let the otherwise excellent standard of care down.

After several weeks of quite severe neck/shoulder and arm pain, I was recommended to see My Aylott by a friend. I attended a one stop clinic with Mr Aylott within a week of booking. The clinic was extremely efficient with an initial consultation followed immediately with an MRI scan and an X-Ray and then a follow up appointment. All in less than 2 hours. He diagnosed the problem and recommended a steroid injection into the cervical spine in my neck which I booked a couple of weeks later. The one stop clinic is an excellent service. I had the injection in the London clinic guided by X-Ray. The actual procedure is carried out in an operating theatre and took about 15 mins, most of which was to line up the needle to the exact spot to place the steroid. After the procedure the pain gradually faded over the course of 7 weeks and I am hopeful that it won't come back. All in all a very successful outcome. Mr Aylott is clearly a master of what he does and he is really good at explaining his diagnosis and wjat the options are.

I did a lot of research on surgeons before I settled on Mr Lohana, his 5* reviews drew me towards him, and I was not disappointed. From the initial appointment he made me feel at ease, everything was explained in detail, and he gave me his email in case I had any other questions, 8 weeks later I was in surgery for an arm lift, now 6 weeks on I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The incision is so precise and the scar so well hidden, I now have thin arms again. The aftercare I received from the nurses and staff at both Ross Hall Hospital and Ross Hall Clinic was top notch, nothing was too much trouble for them, such lovely nurses. I could not recommend Mr Lohana enough, he has a lovely bedside manner and is very friendly, and good at explaining everything anyone researching a surgeon should stop when they find him, they will not be disappointed.

Claire Sewter's speedy visit and diagnosis was reassuring and clearly highly professional. She was highly knowledgeable and provided really practical advice and support. I have followed the recommended programme carefully and left feedback or email responses that Claire has followed up regularly. The stretches and exercises that were given, have helped me to improve and recover my physical condition, quickly, and after 4 weeks I am feeling a lot stronger, and better overall. As this was the 3rd time I have approached Let's Go Physio for help - with different injuries - I can recommend them unreservedly - and have done so already with a few people.

My appointment with Mr Iftikhar today was very satisfactory. I was seen within 10 minutes of my appointment time which is very acceptable as I understand that previous opponents can overrun. Mr Iftikhar introduced his medical student, Erin, and explained why she was there. The feedback from Mr Iftikhar was fairly brief as he confirmed that my condition was good and stable. He confirmed that a routine US scan would be booked for January next year. Erin then carried out an examination of my abdomen. Throughout my appointment I was treated with care and respect.

Arrived at 7 am half hour earlier than needed because my driver was nervous about traffic. Reception staff friendly. Waited while reading. Then shown in, given some questions, blood pressure test and pulse. My pulse rate is low so a few comments about that. Shown to changing area, given a locker and gown, disposable pants and dressing gown. Some more waiting and then shown to operating room. Was made comfortable and given sedation. Prof East explained what he'd done but also gave me an envelope with results so I could examine it when sedation effect worn off.

I was sent an easy to read comprehensive report of my results prior to seeing the doctor which was great as I could go prepared with my questions. Again, he was very friendly & put me at ease, also carried out further tests, explained my results and advised accordingly. While I had to pay for this service, I felt it rescued my holiday and so was therefore completely worthwhile.
