The Spire Wellesley is a quiet calm hospital. The facilities are always clean and well cared for, the staff attentive and pleasant. You can expect the path of your time with them to be fully and clearly explained and information of who will attend you, when and for what reason. You are prepared as soon as you arrive and surgery follows swiftly, which leaves you very little time to overthink or get anxious. I was never left worried, every member of staff introduced themselves and did whatever was necessary to reassure me and provide whatever was needed. It was all very quick and over before I knew it, for which I am grateful. You certainly will not be left hungry or thirsty, food is excellent, the selection is wide. My stay was relatively short, my surgery went well, my recovery and activity level after surgery good and whilst I could have stayed a 2nd night I was allowed to go home as there were no concerns. So I was on for a little over 24hrs altogether.

Before starting, I was struggling with low mood and lack of motivation despite trying various treatments. After finishing the course, I noticed a gradual but steady improvement in my mood, energy levels, and overall outlook. I feel more like myself again, and everyday tasks don’t feel as overwhelming as before. Dr Sohi is definitely the most excellent doctor I have ever seen! We saw her recently with regards to my son’s medical condition. I was utterly amazed at her wealth of knowledge on this complex topic. Dr Sohi left no stone unturned in terms of looking at every possible cause and has such a wonderful and engaging manner with both parents and children. She spent a lot of time talking through my son’s past medical history and all the tests she was doing. We asked her many, many questions and she so patiently listened and provided very thorough explanations on everything that was raised. Her empathy and care for her patients wellbeing is exemplary. This level of attentiveness and care definitely sets her aside.!! Her knowledge of paediatrics is also so, so impressive. It is clear to see that Dr Sohi is in the top of her field in this aspect. Came across Southside Medical on FB ....my own GP practice has no online appointments for all of November and December. I had mine booked and completed in just a few hours. Doctor took time to understand what was up (sciatica) and what he could do to help. Did a complete check to make sure it was sciatica and not something else and gave me advice should my symptoms change. Then after a discussion he arranged for me to get some medication which is certainly helping with my sleep. Can't fault the timeliness and the expertise of the doctor. Very warm and empathetic and can't recommend highly enough.

We had a really good experience with Mr Agrawal and the Hartswood Hospital. Everyone was really helpful and took care to ensure that Reg, who is 91 years old, understood what was going on and had everything he needed. Mr Agrawal had a very relaxed and professional manner and was easy to understand. He took time to carefully explain the procedure and what Reg needed to do prior to the operation. Mr Agrawal visited Reg, in the hospital, before and after the operation. He had a very nice manner and explained what was happening. Overall, we had an excellent experience.

Professor Thomson saw my son who has had many months of wide ranging symptoms and a background of a genetic syndrome. We had already been through NHS services which had been traumatising and did not offer any solutions. In stark contrast, Professor Thomson was kind, compassionate, listened attentively and very quickly offered a comprehensive management plan to both investigate thoroughly and offer some relief in the mean time.
