About Mr Haresh Devalia
Mr Haresh Devalia, Consultant Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon, currently works within the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. He is highly specialised in performing complex breast cosmetic procedures and enhancing aesthetic breast appearance. He is also highly skilled in the local perforator-based flap surgery – allowing women to avoid mastectomies and retain breast tissue.
Mr Devalia began his advanced surgical training in the Oxford Deanery before becoming a registrar for the London Deanery. He has had extensive training in numerous well-respected hospitals including St Georges Hospital, Ashford & St Peter's Hospital, the Royal Surrey County Hospital, and the Royal Marsden Hospital. After the completion of his training, he was appointed Locum Consultant for the Royal Marsden Hospital, before taking up his current post.
Mr Devalia is a highly successful researcher, with numerous publications focusing on the clinical management of breast cancer and techniques. His research work was recognised when he was awarded the 'Best Oncoplastic and Aesthetic Breast Surgeons - England', ‘Best Student at National Level in General Surgery', and the Gold Medal in his final exams for the Diploma of National Board in India. He is also on the General Medical Council's (GMC) Specialist Register.
