Patients feel at ease and confident during consultations and procedures, valuing his thorough and calm manner. He offers detailed information on diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery, often resulting in successful surgical outcomes with less post-operative discomfort. Mr Simon TR Bailey is highly recommended for his expertise in inguinal hernia repair, a most common procedure.
Simon is friendly and approachable and keen to ensure that as the patient you are fully aware of all the implications of the procedure. Whilst reassuring you that despite there being risks with all surgical interventions the probability of problems are very low.
I cannot express how lucky I feel to have discovered Mr Bailey After 5 years of numerous doctors trying to find the cause of my issue within just one meeting with Mr Bailey he had a good idea of the cause. After an MRI scan he confirmed the issue and referred me for procedure to fixed the issue. From the very first appointment he put me at ease and for the first time in 5 years he was someone who listened to my symptoms and actually understood what I was saying and not making me feel like it was in my head. After my procedure he has been amazing helping manage in my recovery. Always putting my mind at rest and nothing is too much trouble. Not only is every experienced in his field but for me most importantly his bedside manner is second to none always making me feel comfortable, valued and totally at ease. And we always had some laughs along the way I would definitely highly recommend him.
Mr Bailey was definitely patient focused. After taking the time to listen about my symptoms, he fully explained what he thought was causing the problem and what was required to investigate and confirm. Everything he explained was easy for me to understand and he made my visit a pleasant and relaxed experience.
Mr Bailey is professional and kind. He takes the time to explain procedures and risks clearly. He answers any and all questions. It was very reassuring having Mr Bailey. The surgery went very well and recovery has been good, I think largely due to the skill and care Mr Bailey put into the operation.
Mr Bailey was brilliant from the first visit, during the operation and with the follow up. I would recommend to anyone looking for hernia surgery and would hope if requiring surgery again I would be a patient of Mr Bailey, although obviously I hope never to need to!
I was seen promptly, and received down to earth and valuable explanations and guidance as to next steps
Mr Bailey provided a clear description of the diagnosis, the options and the risks during the initial consultation, the procedure on the day and the recovery period at the final visit
Mr Simon Bailey is an exceptional Consultant. He was very thorough and meticulous with his consultation, informing me off all the details for the provider in great detail, whilst keeping it as simple as possible. I felt so comfortable throughout the whole process. Mr Simon Bailey in my opinion is a top class Consultant and a credit to the medical industry. A personal thank you from myself to Mr Simon Bailey and would recommend him within a heart beat.
