Dr McGrane has provided comprehensive input across the medication as well as dietary and fitness/lifestyle aspects of weight management.
I can’t recommend Weight Loss Medics in Glasgow highly enough. I’m a Type 1 diabetic and was referred to them by my diabetes consultant to start Mounjaro. From my very first contact right through to starting treatment, the whole team has been fantastic. They have been incredibly supportive, professional and understanding throughout the process. What I’ve particularly appreciated is that they have taken my Type 1 diabetes into consideration rather than treating my weight management separately from my diabetes care. They have also helped with adjustments to my Omnipod settings where needed, which has given me a lot of reassurance. I’ve felt listened to, supported and well looked after at every stage. The communication has been excellent, and I’ve never felt like I was just another patient.

I feel much healthier on this medication. I had puffy ankles which vanished immediately! I didn’t exercise but my mentality changed and I began walking when I would have taken the car. Tiny changes but huge to me. Then the control over my food intake, amazing. Most importantly, the service I get from WLM is excellent. Any impromptu questions I have are answered promptly which to me is essential when taking any medication. Lovely people to deal, nothing is a problem, and an easy system to use for appointments or advice, perfect support. Thank you for helping me on this journey.
