I cannot speak highly enough of the care and treatment I received from Mr Leigh Davies and his entire team. From my initial consultation, Mr Davies was extremely professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. He took the time to listen to my concerns, explain my condition clearly and discuss the most appropriate treatment with me. He made me feel completely at ease throughout the examination and gave me confidence in the decision to proceed with surgery. I have now undergone my haemorrhoidectomy, and I have been incredibly impressed with the whole experience. The standard of care from Mr Davies, the anaesthetic team and every nurse involved in my treatment was absolutely exceptional. Everyone was friendly, compassionate, professional and genuinely caring from the moment I arrived until I was discharged. The procedure itself went extremely well, and I felt that I was in the safest possible hands throughout. The communication before and after the operation was excellent, and I was given clear advice and information about managing my recovery at home. Having lived with this problem for many years, I am extremely grateful to Mr Davies for not only identifying the appropriate treatment but for carrying it out with such professionalism and expertise. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Mr Davies and his entire team. The service and care I received were genuinely outstanding — easily some of the best healthcare I have ever experienced. Thank you to Mr Davies, the anaesthetist and every member of the nursing and surgical team for looking after me so exceptionally well.

After examination was prescribed an 'unlicensed' ointment to be applied day and night for 6 weeks, was informed that there was a 70% success rate. After 8 weeks was seen to determine the result of applying medication and was informed that there was no sign of the 'fissure in ano'. I was to contact the consultant if there were any deterioration. Would highly recommend if anyone needed Colorectal advice.

I had my consultation with Mr Leigh Davies following a very painful and longstanding haemorrhoid problem. From the outset, he was extremely professional, approachable and put me at ease throughout what could have been an uncomfortable examination. He carried out a thorough assessment, clearly explained his findings, and took the time to discuss all of the available treatment options. He recommended a haemorrhoidectomy as the most appropriate procedure to provide a long-term solution, and explained the reasons behind this recommendation in a clear and reassuring manner. I left the appointment feeling fully informed and confident in the proposed treatment plan.

I have suffered with anal fissure for 5 months with intense pain which has impacted my life. All creams etc prescribed were just not working. I felt Mr Davies was considerate, showing empathy and understanding. To validate your pain does make you feel you're not going crazy. He recommended different ways to use medication and other valuable advice which won't cure me as will need Botox op but it will help hopefully with pain symptoms
