I went to see Mr Perera having suffered pain in the ball of my foot for 6 months which subsequently stopped me from being able to walk a couple of steps without having to stop. I have practiced karate for 44 years and this injury brought me to a standstill. At the very first appointment, Mr Perera pinpointed exactly what was wrong, something that two GPs and three physio's could not do. He subsequently operated on my foot and broke three bones in my foot and reset them, allowing the dislocated toes to sit back in their joints, and for the tearing of the underfoot to heal. 4 months later, I am returning to karate and bare foot activities with confidence that in another month, I will start to be more active and regain my training level once more. I am very grateful for his surgery and the time he has spent in explaining the full process in detail, reassuring me throughout this process.

I found Mr. Perera to be professional, extremely knowledgeable and skilful, patient, kindly, understanding and determined. He got to the bottom of what was a puzzling problem in my foot, when I feel that some other professional professionals might well have given up. Mr Perera is a top class professional in his expertise, from day one when I first met him he was polite and friendly and after explaining what my symptoms where he got to diagnosing and explaining what was wrong and the way forward, my recovery from an ankle operation involving two torn ligaments re align my heel bone and tendon fusion I am now able to walk without pain or discomfort, my helping time was shortened due to the fantastic work that he has done, in my view he is a real gentleman and one of the best in his field of work Thank you

Dr Perera is amazing! He did such a beautiful job of fixing my foot, and his attitude and person centred care is like no other. He is incredible supportive and informative. Before the surgery I was very anxious but he took the time to explain the procedure to me and reassure me that everything was going to be okay.
