RTN Mental Health - Right To Choose

Communication is not at all a strong point of RTN diagnostics. I was told, I , as-well as my designated persons had to fill in online questionnaires . It took several communications for the questionnaires to be sent out to them . My brother who was the main person and only relative RTN wanted to fill in my developmental questionnaire never has received any communications whatsoever despite them telling me they had sent it to him several times. One of the problems I faced was that I do not have any living relative or friend who knew me in childhood, apart from my brother, but he is 3 years younger than me, so in light of this I was instructed to fill in my background questionnaire myself , to the best of my ability as he would be less likely to know the answers. I was also requested to send in further evidence including a medical summary report , school reports and my personal symptom observations. I had school reports from juniors through to secondary school so I proceeded to send those in to the requesting email . This turned out to be wrong because when I chased it up they said it should have been sent to different department/email , and it had not been subsequently forwarded to them. I was not informed of the correct email previously. This obviously delayed and wasted time. Finally I was told that RTN had everything they needed to move forward with the assessment. I was told it would take 3 months to get the final appointment with the psychiatrist who would go through my adhd outcome report With me. after three months I had not heard anything so I had to chase RTN to see when I would get an appointment. When I was finally given an appointment it was cancelled the afternoon before by the psychiatrist stating they required my brother to fill in the background form (they had told me to fill in ) he still to this day has not received it. It was frustrating so I put in a formal complaint because I had taken unpaid leave as a carer to be able to attend my appointment which they cancelled last minute giving an excuse that frankly did not stand because they had been informed about my lack of family to fill in my developmental form months beforehand. When I eventually got my appointment the psychiatrist I was allocated was changed again and then I was informed my report had not been written out completely by the assessor and therefore some of the one hour allocated was going to have to taken up by him having to ask some questions that he said he needed to make the assessment. He also said that it would have been easier if he had my school reports. I informed him that I had sent them as requested twice. He had to search online to find them., he basically was unprepared for my adhd review. He read the school reports to me during my appointment. It seemed to me that it was all being done on the fly. One thing I also noticed is that I seemed to be assessed (in my opinion) according to male adhd symptoms/criteria. I donot feel that RTN have managed this whole procedure efficiently nor professionally. They lack good communication cancel appointments last minute and arrive at the final adhd report review unprepared. I feel the whole process has been made unnecessarily stressful. From start to finish it has taken one whole year. I chose RTN diagnostics as part of the nhs right to chose. I would not recommend.

After haveing my surgery done by mr lamah undergoing a loop colostomy I can safely say I cannot be more happy with the treatment and would recommend him to anyone considering any kind of bowel surgery the only thing have left to say about my surgery is it has changed my life even given me independents that I never thought I’d have at this stage in my life Nobody truly understands how haveing bowel problems really impacts a young person mr lamah made me feel like he really understood how much I needed my independence back and together we came to the loop colostomy conclusion and that was the best way forward he was right and I’m glad I trusted him as a professional and didn’t trust what had been on social media And made my choice on facts and my own independent opinion thank you mr lamah It was a pleasure meeting you

This was my second visit to this hospital,and as it was on the 1st visit,I can only add praise on the staff,nurses consultants,seating area with coffee machine,the receptionist was so polite and helpful as well as being friendly and smiling.It was comfortably warm on a cold day,always a nervous person even for an xray.but left the hospital with all the information I needed,and feeling calm and confident on my visit. Must add that Mr Richard Slack is a very approachable person that put me imediately at my ease.and answered all my concerns very confidently,with a very caring side also,I wish I could use those hospital for all my health issues,100%! Honestly, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly friendly and efficient, and the attention to detail really stood out. The clinic is thoughtfully designed to appeal to all ages — my 8 year old was quite apprehensive beforehand but ran straight in as soon as she spotted the Rubik’s cubes. The doctor was warm and approachable, and I was genuinely surprised to receive his report within just a few hours of the appointment. I was looked after by Paz on arrival, and she did my my initial assessments. I then met with Dr Pattle for further assessments, and then a Portuguese chap whose name I can't recall, for the cardio tests. All were superb, very professional, personable, and informative. The speed at which my test results were available was actually astounding. Most had been done within hours, and the remainder the next day. My written assessment by the consultant came less than 48 hours after my physical assessment and was incredibly detailed and informative, with some really great actionable insights.

Stellar experience with Dr Harris surrounding various investigations to rule out bowel cancer. Dr Harris is patient and analytical in presenting next steps. He also helped coordinate an MRI scan quickly when time was of the essence. I’m most impressed by the clarity of his analysis throughout the process. On a previous occasion, I had also had a colonoscopy with Dr Harris and appreciated how smooth and calm the procedure was. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

Always very friendly, attentive, a well-stocked childrens waiting room. On this latest visit we did have a slightly bizzare situation where we arrived, were checked in, weighed and measured, and put into the waiting room. We then received a phonecall - from the next room - explaining that we were late for our appointment. They were very embarrassed and there was no harm at all. Funny though!
