About Mr Michael Fraser
Mr Michael Fraser is a highly experienced and respected Consultant Urologist with a specialist focus in andrology. After qualifying from Aberdeen in 1986, he completed his urology training in Yorkshire before returning to Scotland, where he has been practising since 2002. He is currently working in NHS Lothian ( having moved from the NHS in Glasgow in 2025) working solely in Andrology. He consults privately on men’s health and urological conditions at Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital.
Mr Fraser was leading Andrologist at Scotland’s major centre for penile prosthesis implantation, a service that has grown into one of the highest-volume centres of its kind in the UK. He developed his expertise in this highly specialised area under the mentorship of two globally recognised andrologists, Mr Ian Eardley in Leeds and Dr Steve Wilson in the United States. Today, he receives referrals from across Scotland for complex functional penile surgery and advanced andrological care.
His clinical interests cover haematuria, bladder dysfunction and prostate health, alongside specialist expertise in erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, circumcision, penile surgery, penile implants and prosthetic urology.

Visited Dr Fraser for initial consultation appointment, upon arrival he made me feel very welcome, and after hearing about my situation, he filled me with the confidence that a solution could be possible. I have lived with this condition almost all my sexual life so I have more or less been used to failure. The injection therapy was well explained, I was expertly guided through tuition, and was dealt with professionally. I am now on a trial of meds, I will report back with the results in due course.
