Mr Michael Wilson

I was recently under the care of Mr Michael Wilson for the diagnosis and repair of an Umbilical Hernia. Throughout each stage of the process, his professional and friendly communication greatly helped my confidence in the procedure. He gave clear written notes following each consultation and was happy to answer any questions I had. In particular, providing thoughtful advice on my return to a highly active lifestyle post surgery. I would highly recommend him.

From the initial consultation right through to the surgical procedure I found Mr Wilson to be thoroughly professional, highly skilled and exceptionally experienced. I had complete confidence in him at all times. He was attentive, straightforward and dedicated to my care. An excellent communicator Mr Wilson made me feel reassured that I was in safe hands and I would have no hesitation in recommending him as an incredible surgeon. I am delighted to say my surgery was a complete success with no complications which is all thanks to Mr Wilson’s amazing care, expertise and attention.

I had hernia surgery recently performed by Michael. He gave me total confidence in him, he has a good personality and you feel after consultation you are in good hands. Called me after surgery after few days to see how I was which was a nice touch. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing his skills.

Mr Wilson was an excellent surgeon. He was very approachable, easy to talk to and above all he listened to any particular issues or concerns I raised regarding my health and subsequent operation. He explained clearly about my operation and the outcome. It was all very straightforward, after the operation I needed limited pain relief and recovered very quickly. I would definitely recommend Mr Wilson.

Dr Wilson went over and above all my expectations at every single stage. From diagnosis to the procedure itself he was available 24 hours a day and even replied to a query I had whilst he was on holiday. A very pleasant and happy person to deal with I can’t recommend him enough. I had never been operated on before and glad I had him to ease all my concerns. I hope I never need his services again as that would mean im ill but if I’m ever in a situation where I am, I’ll one hundred percent be asking for him.

I'd been through a rather complicated journey with appendicitis. Treated within an NHS hospital and again in Spain, I was relieved to meet Mr Wilson who agreed to perform my procedure. He and his team were fantastic even supporting me throughout a tricky journey. I'm glad I finally took the steps to have the procedure done privately.

So I was under the care of Mr Wilson for abdominal surgery ( hernia ) which seemed to appear over night Had a very short wait for consult and even a short wait for the procedure . All interactions with Mr Wilson and other surgical staff were excellent

Saw Mr Wilson at King Park Hospital, diagnosed Inguinal Hernia quickly and planned key hole repair and dates that aligned with my condition and commitments. Great communication with him personally to finalise dates for procedure. On the day everything went as explained and expected, followed up with call to check after my discharge. My recovery has been very easy and relatively pain free, hopefully I will not need another hernia procedure but I would absolutely not look further than Mr Wilson again and cannot recommend him highly enough.
