I was recommended Mr Renwick by a friend and I'm glad he was my consultant. He explained everything that I needed to know and answered all my questions, I felt he was approachable too so I wasn't scared to ask what may have seemed like random questions. Overall I would 100% recommend him as a surgeon

I found the facilities to be top notch and the patient care excellent. The operation was without complications and I was provided with all the pain relief and dressings I needed on discharge. I had minimal surgical after pain and the recovery was unbelievable considering the procedure. The robotic keyhole procedure made a massive difference to my treatment outcome and I would highly recommend it to anybody needing a hernia repair. The saving in less time off work alone would make it worthwhile never mind the more pleasant and faster recovery. 5 star treatment, service and facilities all round!

I had a consultation with Mr Renwick for potential bowel related issues after an ultrasound didn’t show any concerns. He listened, explained things simply and it was clear he really cared. He proactively and promptly arranged further investigations to help identify the issue which ended up with me being handed over to the care of a gynaecologist, again arranged swiftly by Mr Renwick. I still can’t quite get over the speed and efficiency of everything which really made me feel like I was being listened to and well cared for. I’m so grateful for all the help Mr Renwick gave me. Top class service and care.

The overall service. Aftercare and staff at the hospital both before and after the operation were exceptional. Never having surgery before they were appreciative of being in a new situation.

Mr Renwick was my surgeon for a robotic-assisted gallbladder removal. I had some anxiety after a bad experience in hospital previously, and he was very reassuring and his obvious expertise helped me to feel confident that all would be well. He was very thorough in explaining how he would undertake the procedure and expected recovery, and also any potential risks associated. I felt well informed from our first meeting. The surgery itself went well, Mr Renwick visited me shortly after I returned from recovery and let me know all went well. At follow up he provided more information regarding the pathology results on my gallbladder and asked questions about my recovery. Overall I had a super experience with an experienced and friendly professional.

Had a robotic bi- lateral hernia repair. Very little discomfort after the operation and no pain. Didn't need to use any pain killers. Wound speedily healed with no infections. Back to full activity- gym and hill walking after 4 weeks. Excellent! Very pleased.

I had a gall bladder removal and from the very first consultation, through the procedure to the final review Andrew and the entire team were exceptional. Very appt was on time, prompt, efficient. The operation itself went really well and the recovery time was shorter than I thought it would be. I have zero complaints at all.
