Mr Andrew Renwick

My recent visit was a follow up examination after my hernia operation. Absolutely no problems and no pain, I can't even tell that I've had the operation. I was given a thorough examination from Mr Renwick and the hernia repair is healing as intended. I was also given the all clear for my after work sports activities. I couldn't thank Mr Renwick enough.

Throughout the whole process from initial consultation and surgery to post surgery appointment there was total professionalism. Mr Renwick made me feel at ease, explanations were clear and concise. Highly recommended.

From first consultation to the day of surgery .and the follow up appointment 6 weeks later I have to say the care I was given by Mr Renwick was excellent .He explained everything to me regarding my robotic assisted surgery and made me feel at ease .On the morning of my surgery he came to me on the ward and again answered any questions I had and again when back on the ward explained how the surgery had gone. I was amazed with my quick recovery and not having the need of much pain relief going forward .The difference the surgery has made is remarkable. Mr Renwick is both very professional friendly caring and down to earth .I wss in good hands .Thank you

I can not say thank you enough! Andrew Renwick went above and beyond to help me and provided an unparalleled level of care. When you're going through surgery it can be so daunting and I am incredibly grateful for the support, fantastic treatment and care I received. From going out of his way with rearranging a closer date, to being sent diagrams and discussing my surgery at every stage, through to the daily after care checks. Surgery is never easy, and in a tricky time personally I was able to reassure my fiancé and keep him up to date with progress from daily checks ins, and answers to any questions which meant so much to me, as my fiancé wasn't able to be there during a very hard time with family. We knew I was in great hands. He was fantastically professional and knowledgeable and clearly incredibly experienced and skilled but also very easy to talk to when discussing the surgery, and kind and compassionate too which made a major surgery feel a lot less complex or scary. I felt relaxed in being able to ask all I needed to. I can not thank you enough, for making what could be such a stressful time with my surgery, instead be such a breeze. The staff here in general have been wonderful too! I truly am lost for words as to how much it has meant to have had such as easy surgery and stay, and be kept so well informed. In such a difficult time for me, it's made it all so easy.

Mr Renwick is a straight talking Surgeon who instills Confidence and Reassurance..

Mr Renwick was fantastic. He asked for a good history, was very patient and kind helping to put me at ease. He is the first doctor I have seen in a long time who has actually listened to me about my symptoms and the impact these difficulties are having on my life without dismissing me. He also developed a good plan of investigations and I am very grateful. I only wish I had an insurance plan that would allow me to continue working with Mr Renwick as he was an excellent health care provider.

Having never had an operation where I had full anesthetic, I was quite apprehensive. Mr Renwick spoke to me just before my operation and raised my confidence greatly. The whole experience from the operation through to my recent 6 week review with Mr Renwick has been just amazing. I had a couple of days where I had a few minor twinges, I was driving my car within two days, and now I am back doing everything I want to. I cannot begin to tell you how good I am now feeling.... So many thanks to Mr Renwick for his skills and experience.
